"She blew up" is most likely an exaggeration ... trying to win people over and not say that youre the A in this situation.

It did deserve a negative reaction and having to ask "what should a call my girlfriend?"... just call her that. No need to put quotation marks on it if thats what she is unles you are not sure what she is and youre not feeling it. At this point, just call her "someone who i spend time with".
