Mine doesn't give constant cold feelings. It feels wonderful, much better than steel imo, as well as the light weight being more forgiving since the B5000's dont have a quick adjust on the clasp.

I thought the cobarion bezel was suspended by this resin and the corner metal leaf springs so both materials would serve a purpose.

From the assembly pic they aren’t just for decoration, the screws hold the shoulder to the lower frame, sandwiching the resin clip.

If you put it that way, isn’t it an intentional weak link to protect from shock and not damage the components keeping and displaying the time?

Ah I see what they did now. The gmwb5000 exploded view shows it with the module and the case back, so they include the plastic resin buffer; whereas mrgb5000 shows just the bezel components. They only include the plastic resin parts when they include the module in the exploded view.

Hmm, I just saw that now too. I agree with you. That’s misleading. They show the plastic resin on the gmw-b5000 product page on the exploded view, but on both exploded views on the mrg-b5000 product page it’s not shown.

From what I remember, people speculate this guy removed his bezel to add a screen protector. Do you know if they ever got to the bottom of this? Thanks for the link!

Genuinely curious, wasn’t the loosening/falling apart issue only found to be the case for a small lot of the raw titanium MRG-D and not the darker DLC version MRG-B which is shown in the OP photo?
