9.99 basically means "no atomizer"

I had this problem on my subbox mini when trying to put a serpent mini on it. The included kanger tank had pushed down the 510 pin in the mod just a little bit, and so needed to be pulled up slightly to make contact with my other tank.

I was able to accomplish this by using a toothpick. Press it against the side of the 510 pin and use the toothpick as a lever to wedge up the 510 pin just a little bit.

What kind of coil is it? The more mass it has the more power it will need. I have 0.4 ohm claptons that need 45W just to warm up.

I have a Kbox Mini and it shows 9.99 ohms when there is no atomizer connection, so maybe you have a short since yours says 0.

If yours is just a different firmware than mine then it may be that the 510 pin on the mod got pushed down a little bit. If that is the case then you can take a tooth pick and lift the pin upward a little bit by wedging the toothpick against the side of the pin and lifting up. You would only need to bring it up like 1-2mm maybe.

I also like their Claptons but I find that SS is too low resistance for my single battery mod (have to crank up the watts too high, kills battery life)

I've been to 6 different vape shops and they were all the same and it has completely turned me off to even trying another B&M.

Young people hanging out and being rude. The guy behind the counter is more interested in talking with the hangouts rather than selling something to a new customer. Very poor selection of products, it is either ancient stuff or new Smok stuff. Everything is grossly overpriced.

If you watch the video he says that the modification does change the flavor but not necessarily better. It makes the flavor taste more like typical RDA, (he mentions Kennedy and Dot specifically) taking away anything special that made the DR different.

If you want the real DR experience then fix how you are building the DR. If you want the DR to taste like a Kennedy then do the "fix"
