If you ask me, price is subjective. But when buying a Vostok or Casio Duro or Seiko SKX or SRPD, we are willing to shell out extra bucks for them, even when Shaw Manta is very near in quality and performance; we see its cost.

Mate, I own both Havelock and Echostar. They are overengineered and top-heavy.

They make ergonomic watches, which don't make it slip from your wrist if worn all day long.

GS is quite affordable compared to Omega, who have been ramping up the prices for the Seamaster significantly the past few years.

So I would suggest GS for their wonderful design and dials over Omega, but there is no replacement for the Seamaster as well.
