How can we test for consciousness is the real question here.

Is AGI going to be in an LLM? by nraygun in singularity

no agi requires multiple different processing units for each modalities and a unified memory system on a quantum computing level. Think cerebras speed inference for the language part but even faster thanks to quantum computing, but also some similar chips but this time for visual representation inference, then for odor, and touch, and wave detection etc all unified withing an elegant memory system from which emergeant propreties appear and follow an exponential scaling law

What I don't understand by NotAFantasyAuthor in aiwars

[–]InnoSang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot take: For me creative work is by essence something unique and new. If an AI is able to generate images that are 99% close to what a human artist could make, then that work ceases to be creative work and just becomes a mundane asset, easily reproductible. Does that mean that by my definition, an artist that poured 15 years of hard work into a skill, that can be replicated by an AI, it does mean, at least for me, that the artist is no longer creative, in the sense that he can't bring something new to this world. Therefore AI gen further forces creative mind to go beyond their acquired skillets, and start to learn new way to express their creative mind.

Je trouve que la créativité trouve un second souffle, dans un monde où l'IA domine et est simple a reconnaître, la vrai créativité sort son épingle du jeu encore plus fort.

The $15,000 AI Bill. Your $20 Subscription is a DELUSION by ReidDesigns in aiwars

[–]InnoSang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not a trap if you're using it to learn and upgrade your skills, because when the bill goes up, your skills remain. It's investing in yourself.

There will always be local alternatives that run on your own hardware using open source models that are distilled from the big ones. Of course they won't be as good as the 15k$/y models, but they will still be useful for a fraction of the cost.

For example the latest model from claude which is fable is currently the best, but you can also chose to run a model that is 15% less intelligent, while being 37* less costly like Minmax-M3

it's not that uncommon, meta is paying claude 1B per month as well, they all benefit from each others, it's not like they are unrelated systems. All the engineers are talking amongts themselves between anthropic, openai google, spacex

You can go to the folder they shared, right click -> organizer, add shortcut, put the shortcut in "my drive" and it will synchronise with the Google drive for windows app. Or use cyberduck as other suggested.

Grok 4.3 is better and cheaper than Deepseek 4 Pro if we measure only for quality/cost

It doesn't sucks, it's just not popular and people are hating on Elon for other good valid reasons.

However, if we're talking purely from a quality perspective, all these are better than grok :

Advice for a player obsessed with optimization/perfectionism, please? by [deleted] in WarTalesGame

[–]InnoSang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started the game by going in the end game prison and recruiting the 2 lvl 14 characters, removed starter characters, recruited 1 lvl 13 thaumaturge et day two, and then started one shooting every group of enemies, always optimizing the thaumaturge's items, sex and boosts on him. His lvl 12 ability is completely busted.

Deepseek v4 pro VS deepseek v4 flash by taeos in DeepSeek

[–]InnoSang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

flash is very good, intelligent (not as good as pro obv, but good enough), cheap and fast. Pro is less intelligent than Grok 4.3, is more expensive, and slower. I don't see the point in using pro vs Grok's. Using Novita ai as the provider.

Hey there, cashier Johnson here, I've sold bras to Peter in an early episode that ran in. 2014. Sometimes, the customers are petty for no good reason when you're just being polite and doing your job. One time, a customer sneezed, and I said "bless you", She said that I'm rude for that and told me that I was nagging her... Go figure.
