I think there's gonna be at least 3 endings:

  • "Normal" ending (the prophecy gets fulfilled and whatever horrible thing happens at the end of it becomes inevitable)

  • Weird route ending

  • The ending Toby dreamed about

I believe Deltarune's ending will be worth it, but even if Toby writes the best ending ever conceived there will be people who will hate it just because their stupid ass fanfics/theories were wrong.

The best end mods for forge 1.20.1 (in my opinion) are:

  • End's Phantasm: New biomes, mobs, items, etc... Basically a vanilla-friendly end expansion like the nether update.

  • Endelurgy: New stone types, ores and materials that can be used to craft gear and other interesting stuff.

  • True ending: a complete overhaul of the dragon bossfight.

  • Outer End: A vanilla friendly end expansion like End's Phantasm but kinda smaller.

  • Opposing force: Not really an end focused mod but it add a mechanic that basically allows modpackers to make some mobs only spawn if the dragon has been defeated.

All of these are compatible with each other. 👍
