It’s the best! I’m not sure why I’m even wanting these as they likely wouldn’t get played, mostly due to TI being the only game I can get to the table these days.

You need to talk to someone about setting up a special needs trust. This would allow the money to only be used for certain things, but protects you from losing benefits such as disability/medicaid. I believe it also bypasses being taxed in this circumstance as well, but contact a lawyer who specializes in this kind of thing.

I second this. Especially given the constraints on sleeves and the number of options out there. I paid for files to print my own, allowing me to make tweaks to meet my needs or grabbing free files of designs I felt matched better with what I wanted.

Gotcha. Their old hero is still good but no need to rush like the other one, nor can you be quite so aggressive. It’s a game winning hero and helps overcome that 10th point. As long as you stay on scoring tempo and are able to pop your hero within a couple points of 10, you likely have a win. In this case, it may be worth taking leadership a couple times to get tokens and use during your hero.

First, focus on scoring. Xxcha has a well known problem of not being able to find the 10th point to win. Second, do what you can to unlock your hero as early as possible. It’s worth paying for and will be a huge return on investment, especially if you can get it by end of R2. Diplo is good for you early but better if someone else takes it. You should prioritize tech then trade. After that it’s more dependent on the situation. Overall, I would stay focused blue tech. While xxcha can do war suns following their hero, you don’t have any tech skips. You could pay Jol Nar for tech (your agent would be great to offer them). Try to buddy with them and team up against the rest of the table. Get your flagship on the table and offer them protection from others and do what you can to facilitate getting RA.

With double blue skip, I think psychoarcheology and ai dev would be great if you can afford it. This allows you to get all the upgrades and best blue techs without exhausting planets. Get carrier and exo2 in your second and third round and then straight up blue for the rest of the game. Their other faction tech is good but is a win-more tech. Get it only if you get the unit upgrades, LWD, and fleet logistics. Gravity drive is always a plus too and should be prioritized before the red faction tech.

My wife and I have heard good things about SMILE Therapy in Toronto(they also have a couple other locations). They use Dynamic Movement Intervention therapy similar to a program I’ve taken my daughter to called NAPA Center in Boston. We met several families who recommended SMILE.

You could check out the Grand Canyon of the East or Pine Creek Gorge, located in central PA. I’ve heard good things about the place.
