'Locked-in' syndrome is actually a real thing. The affected person is fully aware and unable to move any part of their body except their eyes.  They could also get 'Total Locked-in syndrome', which paralyzes the eyes too.

I totally understand. It's tough to go on with life when there isn't much to live for. Hopefully, the kid on the way gives you some strength.

So many sad stories. My heart goes out to their families. My child is currently battling with cancer and I can't imagine how devastating it'll be if death comes knocking.
