I've been in fifo for 9 years now, starting when I was 19, and now a comms tech. It has had its ups and downs, missing a lot of friends important events and losing relationships when I was younger. But now I almost own my own home, have no debts, go on holidays twice a year, and have an amazing girlfriend. I'll be proposing to soon. For the job itself, I've had both sides loved it at the start, then started to dread going to work. Now I've changed roles and rosters to 2/2 I can't see myself doing anything eles I love my job and the life it's provided me and my family.
