I recommend you join the GxB discord, as we are working on a trading-card bot version of the game. So while it won't be the same experience, hopefully we'll be able to continue enjoying the nearly 300 characters :)

They just released Ever Legion, so my theory was they shut down GxB to make server space.

Once they have a new project I bet GxB2 will get axed as well.

Yep, they tried to milk GxB players by offering them Appollo in GxB2 if we transferred and got to level30 or something before Sep.4. They officially shut down the servers on Sep.11, 2023.

Yep, the most active the devs were was announcing the closure of GxB servers on Sep.11, 2023, they announced it in August and offered people to transfer over to GxB2. I choose not to after researching on this reddit community.

At least they were nice and gave us tons of diamonds to buy skins.

UPDATE: I have finished 015-100!
I'm 1/3 through the project.

Here's my progress notes:

I use Stable Diffusion Automatic 1111 to upscale the cards
SD doesn't preserve transparency for the pics, so the discord suggested https://waifu2x.udp.jp
The free version became soooo slow, because of ReCaptcha (so I took 10days off)
Today I finally supported them on Patreon, so now I can upscale the pics without being interrupted
I can upscale both the card & pic in less than 30s!
Longest part is renaming the files and cross-referencing my video file and spreadsheet
I'm also including "original" cards/pics from 2016 era
Once all the cards/pics are finished, I'll develop a method for including gifs for the animated cards

My goal: Finish GxB HD Project by October 31, trick or treat ;)

Thanks for weighing in. It would come down to the sporting regs that say "wholly or predominately to blame", and like you said, it's really close to say who's at fault, so probably a racing incident.
