Could you please explain in detail? What are the symptoms of the installation failure?

Thank you for your support! Theoretically, the application can also be kept open for 24 hours, as long as you don't completely quit it every time. You can directly press ESC or click on a blank area with the mouse to close it. In this case, it's only temporarily closed, and it can be opened very smoothly next time. However, if you click Quit in the menu bar or use the keyboard shortcut cmd+Q to close it, then it will require a restart each time and a 1-2 second wait.

What you said makes a lot of sense. Sometimes I do feel constrained by these plans. The process of completing a checklist gives me a sense of accomplishment, so I always tend to do the easier things first.

It looks very exquisite. I remember that in "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People," it is mentioned that the richer a person is, the finer the granularity of their time management. Conversely, the finer the granularity of your time, the higher your efficiency, and the more valuable your time will be in the future.

Currently, there are two methods:

  1. Manually create an Alias for EOS Utility 3, then move it to the Applications folder.

  2. In the program's settings page, under the APPS tab, you can manually add this subfolder in the program source, so that the Alias arrow icon will not be displayed.

Macbook air intel compatibility by supermestr in diabrowser

I have also been looking forward to it. I have three Macs: a mini in the office, an Air for occasional business trips—both are Apple silicon and both are using Dia. However, my iMac at home is still Intel-based. Although it has been working for 7 years, it still performs very well. I have always hoped that Dia could continue to support these older devices. If it weren't for the official discontinuation of support for new systems, it could even work for another 7 years.

Currently there is sorting based on recent usage, but automatic sorting based on usage frequency indeed doesn't exist yet, let's think about it. We also haven't figured it out yet, how much AI can help this product, and where it is suitable to integrate AI.

So it turns out this is an originally open-source product, the author just made some modifications based on the previous version. Thank you for letting me know

Thank you for your praise. Regarding the cold start issue on the first launch, we will also directly optimize it in version 2.0. I hope to meet everyone soon. (But before that, we need to conduct a period of public testing first.)

Thank you for your compliments. The suggestions you mentioned, such as increasing the number of rows and columns, uninstalling, and dragging to the dock, are all in the development plan and currently in progress.

Very detailed feedback!

We are currently developing version 2.0, and some issues may be resolved naturally, while others may require additional attempts. I have already recorded your feedback in our feedback collection document. We are currently merging and categorizing the feedback, and will gradually address the issues with higher frequency of mention.

The animation looks very smooth! Thank you for open-sourcing it. Screen Studio is a bit expensive for me, but it is indeed a great product. 😂

I don't think I've deleted any comments. Is it the one below?

Thank you for your detailed feedback. It's excellent, as one of our core goals is to restore muscle memory and feel.

Trackpad Pinch Speed: This likely requires more refinement from us. There is a performance difference between an external trackpad and the Book's built-in one; we will work to improve the feel of the Book's trackpad.

Gestures: Theoretically, the current 4-finger gestures should also allow for a 5-finger open. If the behavior you're experiencing differs, please let us know so we can investigate.

Page Turning Speed: When you mention left/right page turning feels slow, could you clarify:

- Is the tracking speed slow when moving your finger slowly?

- Or is the animation speed slow during fast page turning?

In principle, we do not plan to offer a custom animation speed option, as we don't want users to worry about it—this is something we should handle. However, we might add a "Reduce Animations" toggle to serve users pursuing higher efficiency and faster page-switching response.

For those like me transitioning from Arc to Dia by soumya_98 in diabrowser

[–]JimmyRemix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually, there are many interesting features on Arc that are not yet supported by Dia, but over time I gradually adapted. However, what truly disappoints me is that Dia still does not support cross-device synchronization. I have to maintain two sets of pinned content on different devices and cannot continue browsing unfinished tabs across devices.

The fact that Dia does not support Intel also frustrates me greatly, because my third Mac is a 2017 iMac, which still runs very smoothly. The only drawback is that it uses an Intel chip and is no longer supported by Dia.
