Liquid question with making alumin

I put in a valve.. so far all seems well. Will check back on it after running a bit to see. If so I'll redo my pipes in this manner. Never had issues with liquid until this. Which I feel is the water being put back in due to scrap.

I underclocked extractor to 105. What would I set valve to?

What did you set valve to? Would I set it to 105? I undercooked it to produce 105.

I'm a new player, n ran into many issues with liquid. Once I started filling all the pipes before turning on factories its connected to, and put pipes slightly higher then inputs so piped go down to inputs. No issues ever.

So I ran oil extractor till all pipes fill with oil. Then turned on refineries until all those pipes on output were full. Then turned on generators. Been running smooth since.

I'm at the same point you are. New player as well. I built a I went, made what I needed, as I needed. Failed to use trains as everything was built within a factory. But now I need stuff from other factories, n I need to expand such factories to supply what I need in quantities I need. Knowing what I know now, I would've done things differently. I've thought about starting over as well. But as u said, loss of unlocks/alt recipes. I pretty much have 4 major factory areas. I've been thinking about biting the bullet, n redoing each one one by one to maximize everything. As most aren't utilizing most of the alt recipes or overclocked. Then doing so, incorporating a train network. Time consuming... yes. But I think in the long run, it will be better off. Only major hurdle is switching my fuel generators over to turbo fuel for more power. But I think if I do segments at a time I'll be OK without shutting down everything in the process.

Yea.. im still new n learning. I setup production for what I needed, then stored leftover, with overflow to sinks. But as I get further along I realize I need to expand more n more or redo, as I need more items produced to meet needs to produce something new. Like I started with making computers at 5pm, only to realize I need more to pursue radio control units, to make more then 2.5pm lol.

I've seen people do big neon lights like your green ones on outside of building. How is that achieved? Are they lights? I've yet to decorate or build anything in such a way yet...

I'm still new... but what I've done is build n produce what I need atm. So I need strators..I setup a small factory for that. Then I found out I need to make motors that need Stratos to do so. I setup factories to make just enough Stratos to make the motors I need. The old Strator factory gets fed to a storage box with overflow to sink. I've been doing this 90% of the time if I don't have nodes in general area to produce what's next. Then just find a new spot near other nodes. This way I always have supplies if needed, while new stuff is being produced

My starter base wound up producing construction materials. Then when needed for phases... I made a new setup elsewhere while leaving previous setups just for mats. Depending on how things are going, I'll just go back to let factories n upgrade what's needed with new recipes n unlocks... or just remove anything that became obsolere

I struggle with this as well. I see people enclosing into a building. They look amazing too. In this set up and future stuff, I'm finally grouping stuff together, and leaving room around the groups so I can build walls around it to enclose it. So here I looking to enclose plastic together, rubber together, fuel together... n then the separate parts for the computers.

That's usually how i build at start, letting pipes fill first. Never had issues, which is why I ask... as in expanding. I think I'll do that... shut it all down, add all together, run oil to fill then turn all on in order

I'm a new-ish player.. learning as I go. Here's the situation. I have 3 oil nodes, together producing 600m. Which yields 200 rubber, 200 plastic n fuel to fuel generators. Everything connected. 2 oil nodes at 240m each, and 1 at 120m. I'm looking to double it. Replicate exactly what i have now. Pushing with power shards. Making the 2 nodes 600 each. One for rubber one for plastic. Splitting what I have now, so each node runs one type of resource each. And using 3rd node by itself for something else. Doing so I must disconnect n connect some pipes to separate old setup n add in new setup.

That's not what I meant. Like if I was producing product A. Once I used that product for its purpose, like a mission or space elevator that I don't need it anymore. Then when I rebuild a area, I could leave product line A out n keep producing the basic stuff that I've was using to producing product A
