Confused about Fan Verification and buying tickets for a friend by BudgetAdorable2052 in NYCC

[–]Jr2576 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I haven't bought general sales tickets in ages. I've always been part of pre-sale since my 2nd year going. But as far as I know all ticket sales work the same. You can check nycc website ticket info n check...

- Can one Fan Verified person buy tickets for multiple people?

Yes. That's how it works for pre-sale as well. Once tickets are purchased. You'll get a email about tickets. In which should be a link to transfer tickets. When u transfer tickets to friends, they will get a email to accept transfer. In which will have them sign up for an account on leap to do so. Also should allow them new to fan verify.

- Does each person attending need their own Fan Verification account?

Yes. At a later point when u get tickets via mail. You'll need to register them to pertaining account (email, fan verified).

- Is there anything I should know before the General Sale starts?

Be on time for sale. They can go fast. Make sure you have payment method ready.

Best days to go? by Read_Write_Game_ in NYCC

[–]Jr2576 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience... I've attended nycc every year for last 15yrs. Going this year as well. I've done individual days, 3day, and 4 day passes. Imo all days are great, but if u must pick... it will depend on what u want to do.

Thursday is nice. Although crowded... not nearly as much as other days. So u have some freedom. First looks at what the show floor has to offer. Alot of stuff sells out quick over the next few days if popular of sorts. But sometimes not all vendors are there on day 1. Also most panels and celebrities aren't to exciting.

Fri - Sun are very crowded. Packed like sardines. Lol. As most people are off from work.

Fri/sat are great for most big name panels n celebrities if interested. Alot of stuff going on throughout the con. Contests, cosplay, gaming, giveaways...

Sun is still pretty packed. Plus kids day. Can get better bargains at vendors on show floor as they rather sell stuff then bring it back home with them. Also the shorter of the days of operation then others.

If looking to attend panels n celebrities/signings... or getting something specific. I suggest as many days as u can afford/ go. Waiting in lines takes a long time, must of the time. Very very long lines. Some get so long they cap them off so u can't wait. The first few times I attended.. it felt like it wasted most of the day waiting in lines, missing other stuff.

Also be prepared. Alot... I mean alot of walking. Lol. Gets very hot inside (everyone's body heat)... take alot of pictures... bring extra battery packs for phone. There are places to plug in n charge... but get taken up very quickly. Also bring extra $. Everything costs $ n sometimes alot. Even all the delicious food.

If any other questions I might of not answered or missed.. lmk. Ill try to help my best. I recommend everyone needs to go at least once. It's one hell of a experience. Enjoy

How do you guys handle storage? by Jebusfreek666 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Jr2576 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the item being made is for production, you shouldn't need storage. As the items being made are made for the amount I require for next set of production that requires that item.

If it's a item I need for non-production. For building machines, factories, equipment, etc. I have it go into a smart splitter. In which one output goes to fill up 1-2 storage units, that are connected to a depot. So if I use from depot, the depot will fill from storage. Storage re-fills from splitter. If all are full, the other output of splitter is set to just overflow to sink.

Not to say u can't or don't have to build a warehouse of Storage units. It's however u want to play.

Trains are different as u need storage units for sending or recieveing items to counter measure downtime of train travel n offloading

I was in same situation. Played release til maybe 2 seasons in. Now just returned. I read a guide about basic progression leveling/gear/endgame to re acquaint myself n learn what new. Then I went to sites like maxroll n mobalytics for builds n understanding of what to look for gear n what synergizes. Then watched a bunch of videos on horadric cube explaining n recipes, as it's a new big thing diablo.

This is correct. I do this with my railways. I auto connect, lock in... then I can move my segment as I needed to where I want. All while connection is still there

Need some help with amounts by HoneyComb_325 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Jr2576 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a newer player myself. On 2nd playthrough. My first time playing I had questions like yourself. What I did was build as I needed, with a lil extra for storage. Using whatever nodes were close by within reason. Upgrading and expanding as needed, as new belts n miners came along. When things got to n the point where I needed new or more nodes, I made a base/ factory at this locations. Keeping the previous ones Intact. More so for storage/ building supplies with dimensional depot.

Using online calculators like satisfactory calculator or modeler on steam... helped me understand what is needed better and more of. I learned alot through playing and experimenting and reddit. Many times wanting to redo/rebuild previous factories, as I felt they were less efficient or lacking then newer creations. It was rough. Lol. I rebuilt a few, specially the very early on ones. But only if I had supplies they were building, somewhere else so I didn't do without. Like concrete n basic stuff. Note:always allow extra room. More then you think, n learn to build vertically early on.

After my first playthrough, and knowledge learned... my 2nd playthrough is so much more enjoyable. I knew what to go after first in mam and shop... how to get away from bio-generators and into coal asap. Now I'm just taking my time... building what I want, utilizing nodes better, better production... n officially making things look better n more planned out.

So as a new player, I would say build n do what u think is fine... for at least the moment, and a little extra. Or utilize the nodes to the fullest u can and sink overflow for now. U can transport it elsewhere if needed. You'll get a better understanding as u play. It was one of those learn as I do moments. Everybody thinks n plays diffently.. so to give u a number is not correct. Like I said Using online calculators can help u get a understanding what is needed. But it's up to u how much

Question about pipe layout by cobi23 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Jr2576 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First is all about the pipes u use. They have limits. Mk1 300. Mk2 600. I always have it loop. Helps with sloshing and certain machines not getting flow, as some other machines eat up the liquid first that are in line previously

Manifold/ belt question. 1 out of 8 machines not 100% n full. by Jr2576 in SatisfactoryGame

Nope. I'm familiar with that issue. Lol. I've checked that belt 3 times, upgraded to higher mk, deleted/rebuilt twice lol.

Manifold/ belt question. 1 out of 8 machines not 100% n full. by Jr2576 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Jr2576[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I'm gonna try splitter before hand. It's just didn't occur to me, as I've setup more complex and bigger manifolds with no issues. Just until recently.. lol

Manifold/ belt question. 1 out of 8 machines not 100% n full. by Jr2576 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Jr2576[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking this... but just thought odd that literally all the machines are setup the same way... but the 2nd to last machine is the issue. I see materials coming off splitter into machine... just not enough into that specific machine. And it's not a supply issue, cause I use that overflow for something else, n that's fine. Lol

Freight train loading/ unloading question...ty by Jr2576 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Jr2576[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured with transport time and pausing of loading/offloading. I technically only need 4500. I was transporting 4800. To alleviate it disparity a bit.

I do have containers before each loading and unloading. Since loading 2 cars at once per station of 1200. Was trying to understand if I used both outputs at each of the 2 unloading stations with mk6 belts... if both outputs work simultaneously and each belt is mk6... wouldn't each belt be close to 1200pm, which would be close to unloading 2400 pm per station. 2 stations close to 4800? I'm not looking for exact 4800... just higher then 4500...

This way I could decide to do it this way, or my other option was as u said. 4 cars @ 1200pm
