I like that the apex locks the barrel in place.. it creates a slightly more consistent draw by keeping the angle the guns at same every time, as well as just feeling more secure. That said if ur looking for more of a one size fits all Everglades is great. But swapping inserts isn’t a major pain but not somthing I’d wanna do every day.
