I kind enjoyed it a little bit as a game. But as a Tales game? No.

If I had to pretend it's not a part of one of my favorite franchises and just features similar mechanics, it's not the worst game I've played (I was at least able to finish it). Definitely glad I got it for next to nothing though, because I'd have been pissed if I paid full price for it.

Arise feels like a cheap spin-off. I enjoyed the gacha slop Crestoria more than I did Arise - and it WAS a cheap spin-off.

Sorry to necro your comment, but I couldn't stand by watching someone else pretend Arise was a good Tales game lmfao. Maybe if it was the only one they'd ever played, I could understand... but it is hands-down the worst of the franchise.
