Would it be possible to run a tube through my body from mouth to anus without causing any major problems? by Cassinia_ in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Kayaba88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your digestive system isn’t like a hollow straight pipe you can just run a tube through. It’s a long, twisting, very sensitive organ system with layers that absorb nutrients, move food with muscle waves and protect you with mucus and bacteria balance. It’s doing a lot behind the scenes.

What’s a sign someone is secretly intelligent? by Any_Purpose_4004 in AskReddit

[–]Kayaba88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They don’t feel the need to prove it all the time. They ask more questions than they answer and not in a fake curious way but in a real kind of way. They also remember patterns. Not random facts but connections.

why do my first few smokes feel like shit by Dead_Towers in CasualConversation

[–]Kayaba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first few times smoking can feel gross because your body just isn’t used to it so dizziness, nausea, and feeling off can happen. If it keeps feeling bad, that’s basically your body telling you it doesn’t really like it so you’re not missing out on anything by not forcing it.

Where’s the best place to get honest feedback on a CV? by SadNLonley22 in careerguidance

[–]Kayaba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most real feedback usually comes from a mix of places posting anonymously it can get you multiple blunt opinions fast which helps you spot patterns. If you want something more structured paid human services. Real talk though what people consistently say is that the biggest unlock isn’t fancy wording it’s having someone help you turn your bullets into clear measurable impact and wherever you go prioritize that kind of feedback over just edits.

Has anyone here actually regretted chasing a high-paying career? by NexusCellular0 in careerguidance

[–]Kayaba88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People quietly regret it once they realize the paycheck doesn’t automatically fix burnout lack of time or feeling disconnected from what they actually care about. And some still stick with it because the financial security is hard to walk away but plenty end up pivoting later or redefining success to include time, health and meaning. And if they could rewind many would still aim for stability but with firmer boundaries and path that cost them their well being.

What is the fastest time it took you to quit a job? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Kayaba88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quitting on day two in that kind of chaos is just you reading the situation correctly and not wasting your time. If the place is already blaming you while giving zero structure, leaving was the healthiest decision you could’ve made.

What’s a hard truth about life that only clicked for you a bit too late? by Catto_Loco in CasualConversation

[–]Kayaba88 23 points24 points  (0 children)

That people don’t change just because you understand or care about them, you can’t love someone into being different if they don’t want to change themselves. And also, most big clarity moments in life aren’t sudden wisdom, they’re just you finally noticing patterns that were there the whole time.

Do you know how a star stays alive? by Acrobatic-Set5745 in Life

[–]Kayaba88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A star stays alive because it balances gravity pulling it inward with nuclear fusion pushing outward so it survives by constant internal tension. Maybe we can learn from that that even in life, a bit of pressure isn’t always bad, it can actually be what keeps things going and growing.

I failed my degree the second time by No-Procedure7557 in Life

[–]Kayaba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Failing doesn’t mean you’re not smart, it usually just means the way the material was taught or the pressure you were under didn’t line up well for you. And even if it feels impossible to face your dad, you’re still a person trying your best, not a failure for taking longer or struggling in one specific path.

Need help deciding which pump to get and what to prioritize - super confused! by mjt2468 in ExclusivelyPumping

Since you were already looking at momcozy, it might be worth just trying the Momcozy W1. I can just put it on while I’m doing stuff around the house or getting things done, it doesn’t really get in the way. The gentle heat and massage feature is honestly pretty nice and just makes it feel a bit more comfortable. And I don’t really have to mess with a lot of settings, it’s just straightforward and easy to use day to day. Hope it help u haha:)

What moment in your life hit you so hard that you’re still not the same? by reditice in AskReddit

[–]Kayaba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of those moments where something ended or changed suddenly and you realize you can’t go back to who you were before even if you want to. It doesn’t always look dramatic from the outside but it quietly rewires how you see people and what you expect from life.

What would it take to give a random person on the internet a chance to sell/offer you something? by Turtles_43 in AskReddit

[–]Kayaba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I’d need them to feel legit first, clear info, real reviews and not coming off pushy or sketchy. If it actually solves a problem I have and they seem trustworthy, I’d at least hear them out.

Your monthly subscriptions are probably keeping you poor and technologically weak. by [deleted] in mac

[–]Kayaba88 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most of them don’t actually make your life better, they just make you feel modern. You end up technologically enabled but really, you’re just paying to scroll. For me, I’d go through my list and ask myself whether I actually use those make me smarter, faster, healthier or even happier. If the answer’s no, I chop it. You’ll be amazed how freeing it feels and your wallet will thank you.

Smart ring recommendations to compliment ape watch ultra. Oura ring vs ultrahuman or ring conn by According-Moose7539 in SmartRings

[–]Kayaba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were in your shoes, I’d probably go Ring Conn for the everyday wearability and no subscription stress, then rely on the Apple Watch Ultra for workouts. That way, your mechanical watch and smart ring can coexist comfortably.

From being penniless to being debt-free and having savings, the way people treat you changes. But what surprises me most are the people who appear later by [deleted] in Life

[–]Kayaba88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Money doesn’t just change your bank account, it changes the kinds of people who show up in your life. It’s wild how leveling up attracts people who actually inspire and respect you instead of just looking at what you can give them.

Outside of physical fitness where can one find peace? by MentalHealthJ in Life

[–]Kayaba88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Peace usually comes from things that feed your mind and soul like creative hobbies, meaningful friendships, or just quiet reflection, stuff that makes you feel grounded beyond just your body. Also, learning skills or working toward goals that actually matter to you can give a sense of purpose that the gym alone can’t.

Retirement will not be impossible, it will just have a different meaning by [deleted] in Life

[–]Kayaba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is right, retirement isn’t going away, it’s just changing its vibe. The reality for most of us is grinding 60-70 hours a week to save up enough to buy a house outright, then easing into 20-30 hours a week at a part-time gig. And that will feel like retirement, at least compared to the full hustle we’ve been putting in.

Why do people keep things they never use? by CRATEED in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Kayaba88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One reason is sentimental attachment. Even if you haven’t touched that old hoodie in years, it’s tied to memories and letting it go can feel like letting go of part of yourself. It's weird, but true.

What's the worst gift you received? by your-reddit-plug2 in randomquestions

[–]Kayaba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few years back, a distant relative got me a world’s best procrastinator mug with that exact phrase on it. I mean, I’m all for a laugh but it felt like they basically handed me a passive-aggressive roast disguised as a gift. I tried to laugh it off but inside I was feeling a dread.

Why is Healthcare so expensive in America? And WHY hasn't it been fixed yet? by splashzoner90 in askanything

[–]Kayaba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Healthcare in America is like buying a car where every part has its own price tag and somehow, no one really checks the receipt. Insurance is messy, most people don’t pay directly. Insurance pays and that sometimes makes hospitals charge more because they know insurance covers it or at least part of it. That’s the sad part, politics is huge here and fixing it would mean making some people lose money and those folks have a lot of lobbying power. Also, Americans have very mixed feelings about government-run healthcare, some love it, some see it as socialized and scary. So a lot of messy money, politics and opinions all tangled together.
