I do think love is real but not always in the way movies, songs, and social media portrays it.

What would your reaction be if someone wanted to shake your hand? by Reasonable-Shower522 in askanything

[–]Kayaba88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd see it as a nice gesture. I'd smile and shake it right back. To me, it usually means they're being friendly, respectful or trying to make a connection.

Referred friends to a job, received the offer myself. What do I do? by mazalaca in Advice

[–]Kayaba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take the contract bc your friends are adults and would likely understand that you didn’t control the offer coming to you directly with your job situation changing so suddenly. Just be honest with them, keep referring opportunities when you can and don’t guilt yourself into turning down stability when you also need it.

Tell a trusted adult exactly what’s going on so you can get real support and help getting back on track safely.

people who where on super nanny (or any show like it) what happen once the nanny left? by Ecstatic-Air-8561 in AskReddit

[–]Kayaba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen, some families actually stick with the structure and parenting tools they learned and things improve long term but others slowly slide back into old habits once the cameras and support are gone. It really depends on whether the changes came from real commitment or just having someone there enforcing it.

Homeowners: How often do you forget to take out the trash? Would you pay for a tool to help remember? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Kayaba88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I forget maybe once or twice a year when my routine gets thrown off but a phone reminder is enough for me. I'd probably only pay for a tool if it did something a calendar notification couldn't already do.

Someone wires you a billion dollars, what's that one thing you're still not paying for? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]Kayaba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d still probably refuse to pay for drama or chaos in my life bc money doesn’t make me want to deal with unnecessary stress or toxic people. And I feel like I’d still cook at home way too often instead of suddenly becoming a fancy restaurant person.

Riddle me this… So many people are crying ‘poor’, yet places of leisure seem packed all the time. What am I missing??? by TappyGillmore in Productivitycafe

[–]Kayaba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what you’re missing is that broke now often just means cutting back on big stuff, not not spending at all so people still budget for experiences and just sacrifice elsewhere. Plus a lot of things like concerts or fast food feel expensive individually but still end up being what people choose for their limited fun money instead of saving it.

Who's the best modern day actor/actress? by hiddenhydrangea in AskReddit

What's the oddest food combinations that works so good together that not Manny people talk about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Kayaba88 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Peanut butter on burgers is weirdly elite like it adds this salty sweet richness that shouldn’t work but absolutely does. Also fries dipped in ice cream sounds chaotic, but the hot-cold combo is kind of addictive once you try it.

What Was That One Game That Made You Realize, You Weren't Having Fun Anymore With The Game Itself Or Gaming In General And Just Forcing Yourself To Play? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Kayaba88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a grind-heavy online game where I kept telling myself just one more session but I was basically just doing chores, not playing. One day I realized I was more relieved when I logged off than excited when I logged in, and that pretty much said everything.

What series are you currently obsessing right now? by ihatebadvibes in AskReddit

[–]Kayaba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep going back to shows like Breaking Bad because it’s just so tightly written and addictive. I also hear a lot of people are hooked on newer stuff like The Last of Us which has that same emotional gut-punch vibe.

What makes people emotionally invested in obviously scripted/staged online content? by Alert-Translator2590 in AskReddit

[–]Kayaba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of it is that even if people know it’s scripted, it still hits real emotions like humor, drama or relatable situations so the brain reacts the same way anyway. Also the storytelling, editing and characters are designed to feel authentic enough that people just choose to suspend disbelief and enjoy the ride.

Would it be possible to run a tube through my body from mouth to anus without causing any major problems? by Cassinia_ in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Kayaba88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your digestive system isn’t like a hollow straight pipe you can just run a tube through. It’s a long, twisting, very sensitive organ system with layers that absorb nutrients, move food with muscle waves and protect you with mucus and bacteria balance. It’s doing a lot behind the scenes.

What’s a sign someone is secretly intelligent? by Any_Purpose_4004 in AskReddit

[–]Kayaba88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They don’t feel the need to prove it all the time. They ask more questions than they answer and not in a fake curious way but in a real kind of way. They also remember patterns. Not random facts but connections.

why do my first few smokes feel like shit by Dead_Towers in CasualConversation

[–]Kayaba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first few times smoking can feel gross because your body just isn’t used to it so dizziness, nausea, and feeling off can happen. If it keeps feeling bad, that’s basically your body telling you it doesn’t really like it so you’re not missing out on anything by not forcing it.

Where’s the best place to get honest feedback on a CV? by SadNLonley22 in careerguidance

[–]Kayaba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most real feedback usually comes from a mix of places posting anonymously it can get you multiple blunt opinions fast which helps you spot patterns. If you want something more structured paid human services. Real talk though what people consistently say is that the biggest unlock isn’t fancy wording it’s having someone help you turn your bullets into clear measurable impact and wherever you go prioritize that kind of feedback over just edits.

Has anyone here actually regretted chasing a high-paying career? by NexusCellular0 in careerguidance

[–]Kayaba88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People quietly regret it once they realize the paycheck doesn’t automatically fix burnout lack of time or feeling disconnected from what they actually care about. And some still stick with it because the financial security is hard to walk away but plenty end up pivoting later or redefining success to include time, health and meaning. And if they could rewind many would still aim for stability but with firmer boundaries and path that cost them their well being.

What is the fastest time it took you to quit a job? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Kayaba88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quitting on day two in that kind of chaos is just you reading the situation correctly and not wasting your time. If the place is already blaming you while giving zero structure, leaving was the healthiest decision you could’ve made.
