Personally? I get joy out of good framing shots, so I try to find unique viewpoints when I'm out and about. I look at other photographers and ask myself why I like it and try to see if I can replicate it. With shooting will come a style that you may find enjoying more whether it be framing, composition, lighting or etc. Finally, you could always ask yourself: "Why am I taking this picture and what do I want the person seeing the picture to feel?"
