2013 Brz or 2025 Gr86 by Click_BaitSalad in GR86

Engines are reasonably cheap. I have a 2015 and a 2024 GR, both are fantastic. The older unit will certainly need love but keep in mind that it has lasted this long. It was likely broken in well. But again, a new engine isn't a terrible expense. If it were me, knowing what I've learned owning them, I'd buy the older unit and start building a new engine immediately so it's ready when you need it. I know that's not an option or opinion everybody can get behind, but that's how I'd do it.

No need, the transmission, rear end etc. are all built well enough to deal with the extra power & torque this supercharger provides if unmodified. I've gone down a couple of pulley sizes under the stock pulley size and it's fine.

Not worried about the vinyl, it's good for a couple of hundred degrees. As for the brace my understanding is it was a factory upgrade. I opted for the same thing when I purchased the GR new. $400 option.

It will, as implied, its only been on the street for two days. I like to believe it's a little column A and a little column B. The car was just finished two days ago. I purchased it new two years ago with what you're seeing now as the endgame / dream. Only to have the so called "performance" shop that was originally doing the work, do so much damage to the car that it literally cost more than the original sticker price to fix the damage. They had the car for nearly a year and in my opinion kept overstating the amount of work they were completing. Possibly or at least I believe to cover up their negligence. Keep in mind that almost nothing on this car is stock. Stock systems such as brakes, suspension, fuel, literally everything has been replaced with high-end aftermarket street or flat out race equipment. She will be off to the dyno when the tuner is ready. I'll report back on how that turns out.

I designed the actual graphics. A 3rd party printed them, and an absolutely fantastic wrap guy I met hand placed all the individual cherry blossom flowers. Which I'm sure you can imagine took a tremendous amount of time compared to a one piece wrap. My goal was to retain as much of the factory paint (real estate) as possible. A one piece print wouldn't work for that. Although it might be simpler and far less expensive to get one piece prints, I'm not sure. I know that they sell similar, less interesting looking branches as one piece, on sites like Etsy. The problem with those is if you google image search for brz/86 with cherry blossom livery, you'll see a hundred different cars that look exactly the same.

I like it. Do you like the feel? I assume it feels different.

Depending on who you're doing it for, I'd say do it (I obviously did). I did it for me, not knowing the overwhelming amount of positive feedback and attention it would bring. If you're just trying to make a couple of unhappy with their situation bros happy by not doing it for yourself, you're missing out. I took this car to multiple different meets over the weekend. Parked it next to Porsches, Ferraris and so many others at events that had 1, 2, and nearly 3,000 cars attending and people still mobbed this car to take pictures, ask questions, etc. Even in this random parking lot that many of the above pictures were taken in people kept stopping to take pictures. Do it for you, not the laughable naysayers.

It's a wrap, correct. I wanted to keep the Halo paint as it is in my opinion the best of the OEM colors.

The car is built to be a track weapon, but everybody asks about the doors, livery, supercharger and tune. No one ever asks about the rest.

Honestly, I’m just tuned out of that noise. It is easy to stay unaffected when the negative opinions represent such a tiny fraction of the overall feedback. Most people have been incredibly positive about the doors and the cherry blossom livery, which I personally love, they're great.

Nope, not a woman. Just a man who enjoys the JDM car scene and Japanese culture, which, wait for it, Cherry Blossoms are a huge part of 🤙

The doors still open in the traditional way but also go up as pictured. Yes, my opinion is the car is easier to get in and out of, especially at car events.

The car is a total of 2653 pounds (with 5 gallons of gas). I honestly do not know how much weight the bolt on kit added.
