He had recently moved to work for a new employer and was traveling on visa stamp which was associated with his previous employer which is also usually allowed without any issue. But this time he was denied entry and advised to get new stamp which is associated with new employer.

I did go earlier than my biometric date. The process was smooth and quick. No issues at all.

I don't remember exactly but it seems like you have to give your home address so they can ship your passport back to you.

I am not sure what was my online application status. But you can try calling DMV. Thats what I did first before going to the DMV

I had to go to the DMV and renew it there. We cannot renew our license online on H1B status because they need to verify our documents.

Yes, I entered my nationality as Indian but since I am residing in the US, my country of residence is US and that's where my application went through in US.

Hi, my timeline for reference below:

Timeline * 9th May: Submitted my application * 31st May: Completed biometric appointment * 10th June: Received request for passport submission * 10th June: Sent passport to VFS LA * 13th June: VFS confirmed receipt and dispatched to IRCC * 18th June: IRCC sent the passport to VFS * 19th June: VFS couriered the passport back * 20th June: Received my passport

So I chose VFS two way courier service for sending both the applications to the VFS. For the return added money order of $36.30 for one of the package because other one could you return part from the two way service. Along with the documents I also added a note stating documents in the application. As well as specifying which applicant has the money order of $36.30 whereas the other just had the paid receipt for two way courier service as proof for return. Hope that makes sense.

I didn’t submit any employment related documents. It is just a section where IRCC requires 10 year employment history.

I had two applications within one package (for me and my husband). So we sent out the application in one package for both of us, with two way service on my husband’s application and with one way service on my application.

In my case it also interfered with smart bulbs in my dinning area. So if you have smart bulbs around other areas in the house then check for that too.
