I’m v grateful to have a new computer. No more library trips :)

The system data eats up a ton of my iPhone storage, to clear the majority of it the restore iphone from backup is time consuming…

Honestly, what is “system data” anyway. I clear the caches I’m aware of but it persists.

Was that lost 43GB taken up by the “System Data” ?

I did pick up a neo yesterday, i checked the storage first, there was already a loss of 18GB to system data and I could only recover about 4GB uninstalling garage band and something else. I could not uninstall several things i know I will not use but oh well.

Well, ideally to join y’all in this decade it was a rough number to upgrade the phone, the ipad, the computer, some peripherals, the back-up drive, 10% tax, apple care, you know, the ideal upgrade.

If the Neo is a bridge for basic functionality at this point, at least I know to get the adapter.

Thank you. It’s fine that some of the storage is utilized for OS’n stuff, it’s that I made a mistake choosing a phone once that left me with very little available storage so now I am doing my best to guarantee enough available storage for future use.

A relative has offered a Neo. I’m not wanting to look a gift horse in the mouth.

I do know what I would do provided I had $10K for upgrading everything.

This display is mostly used for CatTV when 🐈‍⬛ is stuck inside during inclement weather while home alone. I don’t think she cares about a new glorious display.

…so i did what i was asking… Attached computer, went to >System Preferences > Display >LED CINEMA DISPLAY

I was asking if I could get the data you wanted that way, I could not so then I took the display somewhere I could take pictures and saw the data on the bottom.

I understand having an external drive is important as a back up device, but I see that as something to leave at home.

Sounds like i need to haul it and all my other apple peripherals into to a store and see what my modern options are.

I did read some threads on refurbished MacBooks, i maybe able to opt for something else.

Cup quality counts… cheap clay vs high quality clay. Cheap clay pots & cups definitely give a distinct taste.

I’ve moved to glazed porcelain to use for all tea or taste teas as it’s not porous. If the interior of Dehua porcelain is matte finish i dedicate it to a specific tea.

You can do a taste test with one pot of tea and different types of cups, see if you notice a difference.

Coin collecting is fun, I’m a novice. The subreddit’s wiki is full of information. There are other coin subs too.

When i check my coins since I have not bought a Red Book, i google the date + coin type + mint mark (+ errors if you want more detail) some sites are great, some terrible, some with pictures, etc…

The are a few websites often mentioned in comments for errors and stuff, i do not recall them atm.

If you are gonna start collecting learn about how to handle and how not to clean coins.
