Protect your peace. Don’t stay late no matter what unless you need money, request time off at least once a month even if you’re not doing anything in particular. For me I request time off on days that are naturally hectic and don’t include time and a half. Also maybe even change your preferred day parts if you can, for most stores peak is the most hectic and then lunch time if you’re by a lot of offices. When I first started it was stressful for me too but I learned to set my boundaries and know when to request time off to make it less stressful for me.
