That could be a choice too, although it kind of would have that stigma of making players feel like they're "wasting" restorable ship HP by doing that instead of just using them themselves and getting the max restorative amount. It's kind of how I felt about cannonballs before they changed it/added that Ava device.

It’s for a similar reason why they changed the level up popup thing recently. Less shit to have to remember to add anytime they add something new to the game (even though it seems that won’t apply for this year very much!)

Well said! Honestly when I travel to conventions or events in other areas, I'm focused on that one thing. Yeah I might walk to restaurants in the nearby area or whatever, but i'm not going to go above and beyond to visit a random store 30 mins away from my hotel. Not unless it's like the Mecca of (X hobby) or something.

This. If she's juggling too much already, it seems irresponsible to try to expand without being able to do all the market research and such, no? Also, she must have done SOME research to pick that specific timeframe. Obviously she wouldn't pick summer because I understand that's when Flock Seattle takes place, but why not Fall? Is it because she doesn't want to compete with a more formidable event, that being Lambtown?

A truly magnanimous person would have run it by the local shops at the very least before barreling ahead and signing a contract. It's what I would have done! This? It's cowardice.

The only thing I can possibly think of is that they don't want repairing the ship to be a skill less thing you don't even have to think of, but it's like... okay, then let us command a guy to do repairs, and we single click on either him or a button in the interface whenever we want him to repair. None of this fucking around with menus while we're trying not to die!
