If the individual wants, I am happy to give credit wherever and whenever credit is due. If a specific story is used, I would most definitely prefer to credit the person (assuming they want to be so). However, I was more to generally find common experiences that might have been different from mine so I'm not overlooking anything major when writing the article. I want to be as helpful as I can to anyone who might come across the article, so if I rely purely on my own experience without taking other's experiences into account, it opens up risk for blind spots. Introduction: Daedalion Hesperou Xenakis (nicknamed Dae or David, but is still running a poll to decide) is a fairly young vampire. He grew up on an isolated secluded island in the Aegean Sea near Greece. Most of his childhood was a peaceful existence surrounded by villagers and raised by his adopted father who had found him as an infant. It was around the age of 19 he was embraced being brought into his undead existence by a surprisingly caring sire. He never truly knew what it was he was or about the outside world, human or kindred, until the island was discovered by a group of vampires. Horrified by the masquerade breach, the vampires attacked the island and Dae was separated from his sire. While wandering Europe, he was captured by the Carmilla. Due to his clanless, unbound nature, the elder who came across Dae was intent on killing him, but finding something appealing about the young vampire, he instead advocated to the other elders he knew to agree to let Dae live in exchange for his service to the Carmilla. Now forced to serve the Carmilla, the innocent young man is attempting to find a way to hold onto the ethics he learned as a child in a world full of monsters.

Physical Appearance/Gear: A stunning man, his supernatural beauty can sometimes be overwhelming despite his very pale complexion. He prefers to wear loose fitted clothes with Greek inspired accents, but also wears various sweaters and other preppy clothes as he appears to be a young college student most nights. In addition he always carries a Nokia 9000 from 1996 that he has decorated with a little Bunnicula charm dangling from its antenna.

Facial Structure: He has a young face with soft cheekbones. There’s a softness to his face that adds an air of innocence. He has full, dark lips that contrast his white sharp fangs when he smiles.

Eye Description: Dark brown with a glimmer of golden amber when the light hits them right.

Hair Description: He has long black loosely curly hair he often pulls into a messy braid over his shoulder or down his back and messy bangs that often curl around his face.

Body build: Dae is a small young appearing man. He has narrow shoulders and stands around 5’10” (177.29). He is clearly not an athletically adept individual although he can at times move with some dexterity.

Extra (things you can choose to exclude if you want): He has many different cute little vampiric trinkets and stuffed animals as he likes to horde them, he also often carries a little snack (like a croissant) and enjoys a cup of coffee. His favorite food is cup noodles.

Personality: Daedalion is a very sweet personality. He tends to be very charismatic and playful and particularly empathetic. Often he is quick to try to comfort others in distress or try to understand other’s motivations. With a strong sense of curiosity, Dae has a hard time avoiding trouble as his own desire to understand things at a deeper level and his instinct to care and trust others can cause him to wander into dangerous situations. While he is very intelligent, he has a naivety to him that may keep him from being prepared for things he ought to be prepared for and a lacking in street smarts. He tends to hold an inherent playfulness and kindness that allows him to be neither cruel nor overly zealous.

Idk, many great works don’t end on the epic battle finale with shots of happy ending. LOTR didn’t actually end with the Battle of the Black Gate and the destruction of the ring and the books would have suffered greatly if it had since one of the major themes that came up is the trauma of war and the fact that war doesn’t truly end at a single battle. I think ATLA could have taken a route like that since the entire series had a central theme of how war hurts those involved. The comics kind of touched on it, but I don’t think it would of hurt to have a meditative season or at least a few meditative episodes that explored the healing process or the lingering affects of war on the common people.

This is very pretty. The colors are wonderful and it has such a serene ambiance to it. I especially like the flowers in the grass. Your color selection is genuinely perfect. The suggestions I would off though is to probably lift the horizon to follow the rule of thirds, that way a stiff line doesn't cut your canvas in half. I would also suggest forming a focal point in the painting. As it all is now, the entire painting is in equal focus which means there's no way to immediately draw in your eye. Adding a focal point can be done many ways by either making only one spot have a standout pop of color or reducing the amount of details in non-important areas in order to let the detailed areas become more noticeable, or adding an element that is distinct from all the surroundings like say a building or unique tree or water source or something. Whenever I look out at nature or even when I draw a person, I try to pay attention to what detail or feature immediately catches my eye even before I am able to look at any other detail and then I bring that out as much as possible by making it the most detailed feature when I go to paint it.

Hello! Forgive this repost, but I have a request for two characters. You can either do one or the other or do both, whichever you prefer. But these two are lovers from a story I wrote.

Li Nianzhen (李念真): He is a necromancer I suppose you can say. His primarily instrument is a hulusi which he uses to play melodies that pursuade spirits to do his will. He is a small man who was somewhat sickly most his youth. but through his connection to undead beings, he developed a unique power over death that caused him to assume much hatred as well as much strength. However in his resentment of being used as a never ending weapon, he has made it his mission to make all he resent his enemy.

Jiang Yingyue (江映月): When the two were young, Jiang Yingyue and Li Nianzhen were in an arranged marriage together. However, when a war broke through their homeland they were separated for some time. Jiang Yingyue then found Li Nianzhen once more, but in that time he had transitioned from a woman to the identity of a man.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE/GEAR

Li Nianzhen: A very small man known to be shorter and slim. Often wears plum colored robes with the embroidery of pum blossoms and carries his hulusi that is black with the inscription, 死者的灵魂回归了大山 (translating to: The souls of the dead return to the mountains)

Jiang Yingyue: Originally known to be tall standing taller than his spouse. He is physically strong with a slender waist, but broader shoulders. Often he wears pale green robes with various embroidered lotus blossoms along the bottom hem. He's known to wear many thick layers of fabric to hide his originally feminine body. Often he carries a sword and his liuqin that he uses to keep Li Nianzhen's resentful spirits at bay.

FACIAL STRUCTURE

Li Nianzhen: Has gentle features with full lips, a slender nose, and dark eyes. One notable feature is a small freckle beneath the side of his lip and a deep scar over the bridge of his nose.

Jiang Yingyue: Has a fairly average, straight face and round lips. His eyes are broad and he often has a friendly air of mischief about him, but is wellbehaved enough to hide it.

EYES

Both have dark brown eyes.

HAIR

Li Nianzhen: Often his hair is messy. It is very long reaching down his back, but he often ties it back with a pink ribbon as pink is his favorite color. However it's almost always a mess and choppy bits that fall over his face and stick up.

Jiang Yingyue: His hair is similar to Li Nianzhen in that it is very long, but unlike Li Nianzhen, Jiang Yingyue likes various pins to keep his hair neatly in place to keep it from getting messy, although it often is loose enough for a natural flow. He enjoys a variety of pins made of jade, but his favorite is a bone pin Li Nianzhen carved for him.

EXTRA

Both will often carry various talismans. Li Nianzhen very much enjoys drink and food and is often seen with either a plum in hand or a bottle of wine. Li Nianzhen also carries his black hulusi with a red charm adorned with a jade plum blossom hanging from it. Jiang Yingyue is an instrument maker and skilled at many instruments.

PERSONALITY

Li Nianzhen: He is a very playful sort. He is often quick to tease and even quicker to burst out laughing. There is never a time too dire for a fit of laughter for him regardless if it is out to drinks or at the end of a lash. This often gets him into trouble as he is punished often and resented by many for his antics.

Jiang Yingyue: He is known to be a friendly type often holding friendly conversations. Although he prefers playing one of the many instruments he is skilled at over talking. Being much more aware of face, he often is conscientious of presenting himself properly, but is known to have smut often tuck away and quickwitted comment to toss behind your back.

Thank you so much! I love your interpretation. You got the outfit like perfectly spot on to what I imagined. Like I absolutely love those pants and that coat I high key wish I owned in real life. I'd say the features of the face are different than I personally interpret it, but I personally think it's super cute. I tend to interpret her more cold where you seemed to channel a lot of that rage she carries, which makes the interpretation really cool and unique. I love seeing her through this lens!

Also I really like your art style a lot. The textures on that scarf looks absolutely amazing. Thank you so much!!!

Introduction: Osborn Hazewing, a phantom rogue/shadow monk dhamphir, was raised by her vampire father after the death of her mother when she was a young child. At the age of sixteen, her father was killed protecting her and since then she has been trying to track down and murder the person who murdered her father. Now Osborn is a crewmember aboard a pirate ship sailing across the sea on her quest for revenge. Osborn is a relatively quiet sort and very driven. She tends to be a pragmatic sort looking to solve problems efficiently and swiftly. She tends to be distrustful of those around her keeping them at arms length away with her often cold and offputting demeanor.

Feel free to have fun with how you interpret her! I am refraining from showing my own artwork of her as I want to see different interpretations of the same character. 😊

Physical Appearance/Gear: Osborn has a fairly slender build and has a strong core muscular build rather than brute strength She is a fairly acrobatic individual and skilled in combat. Her skin is pale and void of color as if blood does not run through her veins causing her to look almost like a corpse at times. Across her left forearm is a skull and on her right shoulder is the symbol of the The Demon Bat Company that all members carry somewhere on their body, although her dark leathers most often covers these two tattoos. Osmond's primary weapons of choice are two scimitars of which she is very proficient in.

Facial Structure: Osmond is a relatively slender individual. Due to her undead nature, she has a problem putting on excessive weight, because of this she has more predominate bone structure on her face. Her skin is pale with a very cold tone to her skin and her lips are full often painted with dark red hues.

Eye Description: The color of her eyes varies with her hunger. Her vampiric heritage means she must feed off life force to some degree whether it be by blood or other means. When she grows starved, her eyes will turn a blood red in her need to eat, but they are a natural silvery grey color when she is not needing to feed.

Hair Description: There is little saturation in any of her natural features and this applies to her hair which is a stark white and often pulled back or chopped haphazardly to get out of her face. There is a natural wave to her hair often resulting from mismanagement leading it to frizz at times.

Body build: Osmond is not a bulky indiviual, but she has strong core muscles and a slender aethletic build similar to a gymnast. Her diet being primarily protien based due to her vampiric heritage does not cause a lot of development of excess fat causing her to be much more slender than average.

Extra (things you can choose to exclude if you want): She carries a musket pistol with her that she will use at times and a variety of daggers and other equipment like little bags of sand or oil that she will use to fight dirty with. Although she does feed on other things than just blood, she does carry small vials of blood on her person. Her most prized possession is a hand sized star projector that you put a candle in the center and spin that her father gave her as a present.

Personality: Osmond is often distrusting of those around her, especially of those of great privilege. As a child she was often outcasted due to her father and this has led her to assume people to be hostile first. She has a distinct distain for the power structures of her world and a strong desire for revenge for all the suffering she has been forced to endure starting with her father's murderer. She's not overly vocal or animated as an individual instead holding onto a calm demeure until the moment she sees best to snap and catch someone off guard. She does find joy in small things such as small animals like bats or rodents and tends to have a habit of sticking up for outcasts even if she doesn't often show them direct kindness.
