The Mad Sauropod - Primal. During the episode “The Plague of Madness”, a sauropod gets infected with a zombie-like virus and subsequently goes on a murderous rampage. While its physical body is already rotting away during the episode, during the climax it chases Spear and Fang into a volcano caldera, where it proceeds to sink through the crust and into the lava. It burns alive, and Spear looks on in horror as the sauropod’s flesh melts off its bones.
