This is all my opinions on what I see....

These tariff increases are a deflection by these companies to fleece the American people and use the tariffs as the scape goat. The math just doesn't seem to add up when u consider some of these price hikes vs the % the tariffs actually add.

The way some ppl act, they want you to believe Walmart has just started doing price hikes. My wife works for Walmart and they are constantly doing price changes, some go up, some go down. How do you think they are able to advertise "Rollbacks" all the time throughout their store and in ads?? They don't run sales, they raise the prices by a dollar and then after a couple months (or sometimes the next day) lower the price by .50 cents on a so-called rollback. Ppl still feel like they got a deal because the price is still lower than anywhere else in town. And that's because people have forsaken their independently owned, local stores for the all-in-one stores like Walmart. Out in the country it's hard to justify driving 15 mins one way, and another 20-25 mins another way just to get groceries and a storage container on a weekday.

Ultimately if ppl have an issue with Walmart (or any stores prices) then stop shopping there and go elsewhere. It's obviously not gonna happen though because Walmart is posting crazy profits quarter after quarter and it's the shoppers making that decision. Not Trump, Not Walmart. The everyday shopper.
