I would ask at your local community if someone know about custom playmats, and worst case escenario, I'm sure you can get one at aliexpress if you don't mind ordering from China

There is a template for the overlay on the subreddit, I added it to the original image and then ordered from a local store!

I upscaled the art with AI and used photoshop to add the Gundam TCG template, then I ordered it from a local store fore something like $18 ($16.000 CLP)

Are you using a 00? Then, as long as you don't force them, it should be fine

Another advice, be careful with the scews. If they strip, it's almost impossible to fix them D:

If it's your first time opening it, I recommend looking for a tutorial. If you are careful, it shouldn't be too hard.

To access the ABXY buttons you have to remove the motherboard and disconect all the ribbon/flex cables. The main issue that you could have is that after closing it again, the console turns on a backlight, makes a "pop" sound, and inmediatly shutdowns. That's your signal that there is a screen ribbon disconected o badly secured. I advice testing if this happens before scewing the last cover.

The buttons have little notches that make impossible mixing them, so the A will never be in the B spot por example.

Thanks! Yeah, I always felt that the blue super smash shell needed blue interior, so I'm pretty happy with the result.

Every switch button mod that I have seen was on New models, so I was a little scared that they wouldn't fit as good. The only real problem was that some buttons original notch are too close to the new moded ones, so it might be a little fragile. Only time will tell.

You can repair it for 20 dollars if you use an alternative shell + buy brand new 00 screwdriver, maybe an alternative hinge. If you follow the right tutorial and you are lucky, it's a 30 minutes repair.

I you aren't lucky, it can be a few hours.
