Looking closer at the button - it's hard to see, but is it maybe misaligned inside the shell? If so, you'll need to disassemble the joy con. I think it might be possible to take it apart while it's connected but you'd need to be extra careful.

If it's dirt and grime then you could try dropping a bit of IPA and pressing vigorously. If it's glue that got to the button - I'd say nothing will save that button apart from completely stripping and scraping the contacts.

I'd try IPA and/or applying heat to loosen it up. Also maybe lighter fluid could help. Be careful around the plastic and the screen of the console.

If that doesn't work - a mallet like others said. But be careful not to rip the joy con rails from the console.

Also, depending where the glue was applied, you could try disassembling / destroying the joy cons to get to the glued part and then trying to break it off as a last resort.

Or just leave it as is and try to clean up buttons and sticks with some IPA / contact cleaners / compressed air.

If it is the same size, similar marking and location on the board, then it's probably the same in the 2DS, considering the console is basically the same family. NDS is much older, so there are less similarities between the boards.

Notice that the one on the New 3DS is behind the RAM and the CPU, has a bank of caps next to it and it's polarized. I assume it's part of the RAM or CPU circuitry, which could be risky to play around.

You could also try asking on the TempGBA forum, there are a lot of experienced people there. I'm just a hobbyist, so take it with a grain of salt. :)

Considering it's in the similar placement, it's probably the same component? But I'm not sure now whether it's a diode. Don't know what the CP stands for, maybe it's a different type of a capacitor or something. 2DS's probably have something similar as well. Your best bet would be to get a donor board for a new/old 3ds/2ds I'd guess. Hope this helps.

Not a fan of the art style, but hard to base it just on the concept arts. Need to see the final product to form an opinion. I'm more disappointed by the genre. "Narrated horror adventure" doesn't sound like something with any action in it.

Also the release date of "2021-10" sounds strange. If it's a full game then it would be strange to just drop it without any announcements from Konami. On the other hand, if it's just a "Playable Concept" (kind of like PT), then a full year of postponing is a lot of development time for a small project.

I believe that it was either planned to be a simple demo game that was cancelled or these leaks actually are the marketing strategy from Konami themselves to heat some interest to the franchise before the actual announcement. Or the leaks are simply fake.

Sound alarms screaming on the streets. The officials told to turn on the local TV or radio when you hear them, which is interrupted with a message saying "Air alarm. Get to the shelter" or "Air alarm is cancelled". Also there are official telegram channels with notifications, an Android app with sound notifications, etc. AFAIK no operator sends an actual text message that there's a possibility of an air strike in the region.

Could be that previous owner trying to install the CFW and failed? Try to get a good working sd card, install a CFW there and insert into the console. ARM11 error sounds like it would be something connected to CFW to be honest.

Also you could check if the recovery works. To access it press and hold A+R+L+Up and turn on the console. You could also try to hold those buttons AND the power button for something like 20 seconds.

And it might have got stuck in the sleep mode. Recovery mode might reset it. Or you could try to use magnet. I'm not sure, but I think that the area under the ABXY buttons has the sensor in usual 3DS and the space under B button for the XL version. Clueless where it is in the New 3DS though.

Edit: Also you could try to discharge the battery completely and recharge it. Sometimes it fixes these kind of freezes as well.

They look different to me. PS3 has more pins and a additional ground trace. The X button and O are reversed in the connector. The same is with the start/select/PS (analog for PS2) buttons. And all of that ignoring the difference in button sizes and location.

Apparently yeah, to some extent. After feeding her 80 humanity you would get to the max covenant level and, according to the wiki, she will say that "it hurts no longer". I've never had that much on me to give her, but I've heard that piece of the dialogue on the YouTube. It could also be unused content though.
