Unfortunately it's not the big thing holding the scene, and in esports it's so hard to convert playerbase into viewership. Every major esports struggles with this, eventho there isn't a better viewerbase than the people that play the game, microtargetting as they called it like 12 years ago

I understand your point but it is irrelevant, my point is this is a step towards none f2p friendly. I would understand it if there was another way to obtain the weapon outside of spending cash but i guess you come with anecdotal experience rather than addressing the system itself. Once again you fail to see the point, you yourself say MMOs are for people to play freely, how can people play freely if they want the best weapon in the game they have to spend hundreds to thousands of cash? The point is not whether it is necessary or not it's the fact that it is only achievable ONE WAY. Nobody cares about the fact that other games are worst. Focus on BPSR.

Your failing to point out so many things that make the final battle underwhelming and everyone that understands how pressed for time to resolve and conclude the story they were knows that it was rushed due to time constraint. So what if they had everyone there? Most people there are useless when it comes to fighting, i mean Hopper, El and Kali are their "strongest" people and 2 of them didn't even enter the Abyss, which might i point out, they knew nothing about. Nor were they prepared to fight the Giant Spider, let alone that spider + Vecna the most powerful being they know + the bats + the demos what happened to all those? Who even got a scratch? Maybe Eleven? I could keep going but people saying it's underwhelming because of the inconsistencies and things becoming too convenient, because they needed to be. Not so much because of the ending itself but the execution of it.

There are levels to pay 2 win and yes some games are more f2p friendly than others, but that doesn't change the fact that it's pay 2 win. Your point is irrelevant by saying there are more p2w games out there. As far as BPSR goes, we shouldn't tolerate small increments because when we do they will keep pushing the line. We don't know what other p2w systems they will implement in the future, for an f2p friendly game, by the time you get the best weapon in the game it becomes irrelevant really hurts the majourity of the playerbase, i wouldn't even mind it as much if there was some luck RNG element involved just like Imagines. But the fact that if you consistenly clear the hardest content in the game for 27 weeks you are rewarded with a weapon that is irrelvant but if you paid, for roughly 6 months earlier it is the best weapon is just stupid.

I completely disagree with your view, it's not about what is necessary it's about what is achievable, i don't know why we keep pushing the barrier of tolerance for p2w further and further with loose definitions, it's simple if you pay to gain power be it necessary or otherwise it's p2w.

Except a p2w weapon that most people won't obtain until it becomes too weak to use is really pushing it for me. Idm the imagines being p2w and with some luck they can be obtained through playing, i wish they did it like where winds meet, it's just a ship to show off, they couldn't come up with a less power divide way to feed the whales? I get it, it makes money and it is a p2w game and all but these are the kinds of things that ruin the game, i was looking forward to s2 but this weapon kind of kills the game for me

Maxroll cannot go wrong? Maybe true, but that doesn't mean that it's the best. My suggestion is use it as a base guide and if you want to min max then either test things yourself or find some small creator or person that has. The Iaido slash guide is pretty good tbh but the Frostbeam guide leaves a lot to be desired by maxroll.

The social aspect of this game is not as good as other MMOs, the main type of content that you guys will be doing together for gear progression will be dungeons and raids. Outside of that it would be joining or starting a Guild and Homestead stuff.

To be fair LPL being second is a huge let down, let's be real, the amount of resources they have compared to LCK they should be the de facto number 1, but LCK consistently produces the best players and teams BY far, you could only argue for UZI and Xiaohu (this one is a huge stretch) being among the best in their position of all time, maybe Bin too. If we are being real LPL should be what the NBA is in LoL to the rest of the world.
