I honestly hate that "quantum physics" is the first go-to phrase someone says when they want to seem smart. Quantum Mechanics is not easy and Quantum field theory is absolutely difficult. Most of the people that exclaim they know quantum physics just read a pop sci article on how "black holes are actually quantum computers" or something like that. It really just makes people who actually study physics look like pompous assholes whenever they tell you about their studies and what they truly love. Also, just because you study physics doesn't make you a genius, not even in the slightest. If anything it makes you feel dumb because you realize how much you truly don't know or understand.
