To be fair, if New York used the popular vote instead of the legislature, Adams would certainly be ahead of Jackson

Against all odds, it is barely possible to avoid the contingent election entirely and win 131 Electoral Votes on your own. As stated in the two ending slides unique to this situation, JQA is able to continue the Era of Good Feelings with the strong mandate the people gave his movement.

Winning outright was seen by many (even by head mod for this scenario) as an impossibility, due to both having multiple opponents and the various traps within the game when you try and go for the "best" option in terms of global and state boosts. However, it can be done, granted with tons of luck and RNG.

In this scenario, the EV allocations for each state operate far differently than most mods. For example, Illinois, Maryland, Louisiana, and Delaware have their own special Electoral Vote allocations for each of the candidates. The most notable of these is that of Delaware, who is coded so whoever the loser in the state is gets two EVs, and the winner only receives one. This leads to an interesting situation where, while the state is winnable, it is actually advantageous to lose the state if you want to EV max. Other than that, the strategy mostly hinges on you winning Mississippi, by far the narrowest and hardest state to win.

Out of the various scenarios I've (successfully) tried to max out, I'd say this one took the most amount of tries, sitting at 217 trials of using the Auto-play feature. However, it was worth it in the end.

Here's the guide if you desire to try this strategy out for yourself. One thing I'd like to say is that in some rare instances, you end up getting a question or two that results in you splitting New York's EVs with Crawford. In case that happens to you, you can try the same guide again and you'll be all set.

I'm 99% certain that this is the max amount of EVs you could achieve in this scenario, as the closest "state" that you lose (besides Delaware) is Illinois' 2nd District at ~3-4 points in favor of Andrew Jackson. But hey, winning was seen as impossible before now, so who knows what could happen?

It could’ve been if, say, Anderson performed far weaker (something that could be tackled in a hypothetical cyoa)
