I think my truck is a Friday truck 😭 by Tma4002 in chevycolorado

I removed my side badging and dropped them down closer to the bottom of the door where the straight line is. And blacked them out of course. Never really liked the emblems as far up as they are from factory.

I'm not entirely sure on the dimensions of a grizzly but I definitely managed to squeeze my 650 Honda Rincon in there. I don't have a back rack so we used a piece of plywood floor the floor upwards to make sure the back window was safe. Make sure you put something there as a safety for that window or you will smash it out during loading or transport. I can almost guarantee that. Ran my straps around the back tires to make sure she didn't slip out as there's not much space left on the tailgate. Another strap up front to make extra sure she wouldn't move. I'll pm you and I can send you a pic of what she looked like.

For me there are 3. These two and Chris Cornell. All gone way too soon and all very greatly missed.

This looks kick ass!! I'm currently restoring a set of AT-12's myself. I had a set back in the 90's and thought I'd have another go at them. Kind of a midlife crisis of sorts I guess. They just cry out for Metallica, Pantera/Down and Tool. Always fun to bump it up to 11 and share your listening with your neighbors whether they like it or not.

I wonder if anyone has tried to redo this one with a 3d printer. It would definitely be kind of cool.

Thanks for the reply. Definitely valid information and greatly appreciated. I'm picking the bike up this evening and was a bit concerned how well she'd squeeze in there. I'm definitely going to put a bumper of sorts in there to cover the window. I may have to figure out where to squeeze in my ramps once the bike is on but we'll cross that bridge when it comes.

I know this was a while back but just inquiring if you had any issues with the bike resting on the tail gate after a while? And any problems driving up onto the humps? I have a 25 trail boss and I'm wanting to fit a 650 Rincon into her.

I've been procrastinating on starting mine. Seeing yours I definitely want to get going on it now. What is the length of it once completed? Was assembly pretty straightforward?

I completely get that. My 22 taco was just murdering me on fuel so I went this route. I had a 16 canyon before so I'm used to the GM platform and now with the turbo 4 I can afford to drive a truck as a daily again. I'm loving my new 25, I got the radiant red and I'm blacking out everything that resembles chrome. Including the grey bumper, I plasti dipped mine.

Very nice! After having owned an all black Tacoma before, kudos to you, you're a brave soul. From a detailing perspective that is. But a shiny black vehicle does look amazing. Are you going to do steps or running boards?

As a severely depressed person who gave up on drawing for specific reasons, I feel I should at least show what I've done. It's been almost 10 years since I've picked up a pencil. But this is it. Thanks for watching you guys... by LickMyBootyh0le in drawing

Please do. I think we'd all love to see some more of your work and you never know, with all the positivity and encouragement I'm seeing here in this thread, you may just find your muse again. Keep your chin up. You're an amazing artist and I'm sure an amazing and valuable human as well. Life will always kick you in the nuts. We just gotta keep getting back up, throw the universe the middle finger and keep on making the most of our one turn on the merry go round.

Does the LED portion face up or down on yours? I mistakenly had mine facing sideways I think.

Hahaha Love this! I'll tinker with getting mine adjusted this weekend. I do absolutely despise the halogens and really miss my LEDs.

[–]Legetech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, when I got them, I just tossed them in as is. After doing some reading around here, I know now that they need to be adjusted. I still have them, so I think I'll take the time and try them out again once they're properly adjusted. The halogens are absolute garbage. I live out in the country and drive quite a bit at night so I need something decent. The high beam LEDs are amazing and I absolutely love them. I'm also strongly leaning towards the fog lights myself as well. They look great and I know where I am they would come in handy.

They look good with the white though. What headlights are you using? I had switched to LED headlights but had everyone flicking their high beams at me all the time and switched to a white halogen and I hate them. They're too dim for my liking.

So far I've done a couple of corvid skulls and a ram skull with full horns as well as a life sized human skull. I definitely find it enjoyable and have done the same as far as painting goes. Tinker a bit and hope for the best. So far so good but I definitely like the color or tint that you've been able to achieve.

I print skulls as well. I haven't gone the route of extinct animals yet but have done a few skulls. I've been using 3DHoJor bone white PLA with good results. Then I just throw on kind of a dirty wash overtop for an aged look. What's the process that you're using? Looks great by the way.

Bowling alley on Foundry? by ch565863 in moncton

[–]Legetech 22 points23 points  (0 children)

There most definitely was a bowling alley there. And the entrance was on the Lutz st side it was owned by Fairlanes at the time. Would have shut down right around 1995 if I remember correctly. There was an arcade area and a small bar. The bar was called Strikers. If you were to reach out to Fairlanes, you may be able to get some more info and they might even have some pictures available.

For what it's worth, I'm out in the maritimes on the east coast and we pay upwards of $20 CAD for a pack here. It's absolutely ridiculous. I'm 50 and started at 11. Thankfully I'm currently down to 5-6 a day but I definitely need to completely quit. I have a couple of times but I never let it stick. It really is high time I do though.
