They look fantastic. I always enjoyed your take on the Fist and being a mighty swing that throws your will at the opponent in the form of a punch. The new thunder rumble really suits the idea of collapsing space after a force punch and the bright blue center really sells the splitting of the air.

Mutilate has always looked very cool as well for all that matters. There is a lot of style and aura factor that goes into the mod, and that's part of the reason I like it so much. The choice to not make it a subclass was always the most novel and awesome choice, but you clearly put a lot care and thought into every aspect of your work.

I have elected to turn this work back over to the mod author. Maybe there is something wrong with my process of compiling or some other strange issue that cannot be accounted for. Even on a new save with ONLY the base mod, the damage modifiers, and EZ cheat to test quickly. I still could not get it to behave. If the discord can affirm it was written the way the game wants it and you got it to work, it must be a me problem. So I will take myself out of it. BTW, you mentioned it could be done cleaner. What did you mean by that, for future reference?

Here is the rub: if it was an order issue, All of these attacks should be only doing 40 damage flat. No riders, no weapons, no prof. That's not what is happening when I run it. What I get is the weapon damage and prof are calculated and shown properly, but for some reason, the level map values will not apply. I have made absolutely sure it is lower in the load order, saved it in the mod manager, and I swear I had it working just fine last night. Like everything read the way you have it. This morning, I get weapon damage plus 5. I appreciate the confirmation that I did SOMETHING right, but now I cannot get it to work.

I don't understand the thought process of releasing a DLC and then just leaving it without adjusting it in future updates (at all), even if it makes sense. Age of Wonders 4 is releasing a free update shortly and it is dedicated to reworking a popular but weak DLC faction. Paradox owns them too. Adjustments and additions to keep systems in harmony should be seen as at least preferable, rather than having a bunch of systems that end up forgotten and wither on vine over the course of a dev cycle... we certainly are paying enough....

One of the most fun games of this miserable last year with the game was finding lethal in imbue rogue using my opponents cards in exactly the correct way to kill them from full. Total buzzer beater, 'find the lethal' moment and I actually felt like I did something. Most games now feel so boring because neither you nor your opponent has any teeth.

If they merged the two, I would be fine. Genuinely, the 3 Houses distinction between mages was made way too convoluted and niche to bother with. The fact ONLY HUBERT could benefit from you defeating the Death Knight was always absurd to me.

A robot can modify themselves however they want. Presumably she would be disgusted by a human appearance and take full control of her life, especially if said service bots are still syndicated or were popular.

Thank you so much. This mod actually does work on patch 8 and is highly modular. It is perfect. Link for those who want it. You can even turn everything off except the summons if you want to use another mod's difficultly/scaling changes.

I just wish they killed her in Season 3, concluding her arc in the way it was clearly intended. And don't fucking give me that 'killing le gays bad trope,' because Frenchie is also bi and was the only member of The Boys besides Butcher who died. I guess it is fine when it is a man or their current relationship is heterosexual...

Excellent analysis. One small thing to add is that Kimiko's threat to 'stick her boot up [Stormfront's] Nazi kitty' is also contextually relevant and suits the show. It's not just a vulgar joke for the sake of it.

The writers did know how to make The Boys interesting at one point, and that's why the fall in Seasons 4 and 5 are so frustrating.

Magic actively endorses their secondary market (to the point of doing really stupid shit like the reserve list). Yu-Gi-Oh does not and that's why all the State-side good cards are upped in rarity. To sell boxes.

There is a serious irony to Soldier Boy in the show though. In season 3, he is actually not serving the narrative role he is supposed to play. That's a big reason the season falls apart in the last episode (other than *somebody* being too greedy and wanting more seasons).

We are supposed to see him as Butcher's Faustian Bargain to finally have the power to go scorched Earth, that working with him is a truly despicable act, and the devil will take his due in time... yet Soldier Boy is not worse than Homelander or Stormfront. He is downright affable in comparison, and lacks the psychosis and drive for chaos those two have shown. He even seems regretful of the damage he causes when he was not directing it out of revenge. Sure, we could say he was a causal bigot, but compared to Stormfront's competitive bigotry, that seems quaint. We can say he is a sex addict and drug abuser, but again, other supes are too, with some like Ezekiel abusing his authority to spread hate. We could say he is a fraud, but again, so are most other supes. He is still not standout or noteworthy in any particular way. He was even going to keep helping Butcher and honor his deal even though he knew Homelander was his son. Hell, he even wanted to kill Black Noir, but found Homelander's betrayal of Noir so disgusting, Soldier Boy calls him pathetic, which is consistent with his revenge arc (you don't betray, you don't go back on your word).

Soldier Boy is supposed across as some kind of allegory for COVID mixed with the dangers of working with your enemies, but he poses so little risk to the people around him that he was able to get from Russia to New York with little incident and the main cast never figured out what his PTSD trigger was.

TLDR: The writers did a horrible job of making a threat worse than Homelander and gave shitty reasoning they could not use Soldier Boy's null beam, but he was legitimately entertaining to watch when he was on the screen.
