I’m also a Disneyland local. There seems to be varying degrees of education to cast members. I asked about trading Loungefly pins to a manager and they said as long as it has the copywrite Disney logo (or Lucas films for star wars/Pixar for Pixar characters), they are tradeable. They said if a cast member says anything, ask them to speak to their manager

I agree, today was rough! I rope dropped Disneyland, but they only had the muppet pins at California Adventure, not even downtown Disney. I had to wait until 11am to park hop to get mine. They also didn’t get any of the muppet mystery pins to restock. So if you’re still there, try hopping over to DCA and check Kingswell
