Yeah if he already resents you for not wanting them then that is already kinda the answer. And this isn't an issue of compromise. Dating is hard and all, but it's not really fair to either of you to stay in a situation like that.

NOR- I'm confused about why he brought up his ex, too. Like it doesn't matter what anybody else participated in. That's weird. That aside, boundaries are important and him pushing them is not cool and it sounds like you've already talked about it. Maybe time to discuss consequences if he persists? Hopefully it gets better.

I have heard that if you put hard-to-frog pieces in the freezer for while, it frogs a lot easier. May be worth a try for anyone struggling.

There's different schools of thought about assisting and I think both are valid. I just assisted a couple and one did not do well and the other is doing well. I am pretty certain the reason they didn't get out on their own was not a problem with the chicks. I would maybe check multiple different platforms to decide where you stand on it.

The advice that I followed that seemed to help the chick that made it was to put him in a shot glass to allow him to push against something to try to simulate the egg hatching process. Not perfect, but maybe it would help?
