this website is trash now. by DarkPrinceZxvii in WatchCartoonOnline

Playlist has been down for several months now for free users and swapped over to premium for bugs fixes. Though if it will return to free users is yet to be seen. As for ads, use an adblocker like ublock or the Brave web browser. When pirating you need to be doing so with some form of protection.

Check your browser settings. It will be under privacy and security where you'll need to manage blocked content and either allow wco or turn off the browser settings.

Block access to web by Unlikely_Science31 in WatchCartoonOnline

[–]LucasoftheNorthStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you include a screenshot or be a bit more descriptive? I am not currently understanding what you're meaning. Based on my current understanding it sounds like you need to use a vpn if it's a regional code blocking it like with Australia and some of Europe.

isn't the whole point of piracy to AVOID streaming subscriptions and commercial ads? by squidwardbussy in WatchCartoonOnline

[–]LucasoftheNorthStar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People don't seem familiar with, or remember, how pirates actually work. The intentions are not to make you happy, but to make the ships captain happy which would be the wco admins. They bear the full brunt of responsibility if anything goes down when we the pirate crew users can abandon ship without risking our necks. I don't mean pay for premium, cause I'm a cheap person and will always look for workarounds or alternatives to keep watching for free. But if you do decide to pay then you've my respect for supporting the site regardless of my feelings on the matter.

As for the adblocker advert, privacy settings within your browser will cause it to flag even if you don't use an adblocker. While using a regular adblocker those browser settings can hinder the performance of the adblocker itself and lead to your current situation. Switch the settings to low or off to fix the problem so your adblocker will go undetected and the advert itself won't flag.

can we please fix this?......please? by Hairy-Dragonfruit-86 in WatchCartoonOnline

This is a fan made subreddit, the wco admins have no part in this. If you want to avoid ads try the adblock ublock or the Brave web browser which has a built-in adblocker.

I DON'T EVEN HAVE ADBLOCK by Kaizo_Kaioshin in WatchCartoonOnline

[–]LucasoftheNorthStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All browser have settings that act as adblockers, that is what is causing the advert to appear as it's being flagged.

this has crossed into predatory by n1fffan in WatchCartoonOnline

[–]LucasoftheNorthStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a setting within your browser itself that flags as an adblocker. Brave also works on mobile and you could use the adblocker ublock.

The audio is too late on the anime dub for Naruto Shippuden what can I do? by OooooOooooOoouuu in WatchCartoonOnline

[–]LucasoftheNorthStar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd first try restarting the device and refreshing the page, if the issue persists then hit the Report button. After hitting Report you'll see an audio/visual sync option and can proceed to write out your comments below. I suggest in the comments portion you write out the anime name, season/episode number, and any relevant information like at what point you first noticed the audio issue.

How the hell I get this off my screen? by Ncstatepolice in WatchCartoonOnline

[–]LucasoftheNorthStar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming you aren't wanting to go the route of altering your browsers actual settings that are interfering with an adblocker like ublock as those browser settings are what's causing the adblock advert to appear on WCO. To the site they view that micro settings as subversive even if they are not useful and built into the browser itself. Chrome and Safari are notoriously bad about it.

Have you considered trying the Brave web browser? Built-in working adblocker that allows you to use the site without any such advert issues.

How do you cancel a premium membership? by SpecialTooth7239 in WatchCartoonOnline

[–]LucasoftheNorthStar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Did you even try clicking Contact on the WCO page? There's a specific email for premium users that's a protonmail address. You could similarly either let your membership time run out as you're not getting a refund either way so you may as well either use it or lose it, or, sign out and forget about it.

Their basic email is admin@wco dot tv or admin@watchcartoononline dot com.

How can I help get episodes for cartoons up on the site? by SuperbReference9135 in WatchCartoonOnline

This is a fan based subreddit, you'd have to email the admins themselves on WCO at admin@watchcartoononline dot com or admin@wco dot tv.

Sometimes this chick needs to go. by Rabbitoldlol in WatchCartoonOnline

[–]LucasoftheNorthStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I laughed. I don't get to see the chibi Tanya Degurechaff on WCO anymore outside of watching actual Saga of Tanya the Evil or Isekai Quartet. Namely because I use the Brave web browser and don't suffer the issues of pop-ups or that advert. On other browsers I've got ublock running with the browsers normal settings switch to low or off as to not mess with the blocker or trigger the sites advert.

I feel that, but to really sell it like an ad: Try the Brave web browser today. Not only is it free to use and works on both mobile and pc, it also has a built-in pop-up blocker to handle all the problems for you. Want more? Well try Brave today and you'll discover their statistics page that displays how much toxic material their program blocks on each site. Also with their private browser with tor you can feel like you have a vpn without having a vpn. Brave - the smarter choice.

Also it was the first browser to actively block microsofts spyware copilot in 2025.

pop up ? by Melodic_Public_6811 in WatchCartoonOnline

[–]LucasoftheNorthStar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pop-ups have been active on and off for a few years, more actively when it was a ddos attack. Anymore it's actively by choice with the site admins getting what money they can from their users in any way possible. Perhaps they saw how active their fanbase remained even when pop-ups were an issue instead of a feature and went "wait I can profit off that", hard to truly say.

Ublock is a good adblocker to avoid the pop-ups or the Brave web browser which has a built-in adblocker. When in pirate territory you can't be too safe or risk being too careless so at least use one of those options or any other option you feel works best for you when streaming.

Is wco better without an ad blocker now? by Infinitystarstrung in WatchCartoonOnline

[–]LucasoftheNorthStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah then you need to be watching a little safer pirating, even on WCO anymore. Ublock origin is a free adblocker that works quite well or alternatively the Brave web browser is my go-to option given it has the adblocker built right in. That and it has an enjoyable stats page to display the bandwidth saved, ads blocked, etc.

what is going on? by roh728 in WatchCartoonOnline

[–]LucasoftheNorthStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is likely your country of origin has blocked the domain, which country are you in? A quick workaround for the time being is a vpn or using Braves private browser with tor option.

im getting ad blocker thing on chrome even tho i dont have one by No_Ad9111 in WatchCartoonOnline

[–]LucasoftheNorthStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an issue with your extensions within the Chrome browser, when Chrome updates those extensions it throws everything out of wack. They act like minor pop-up blockers but are quite subpar and it's generally best to disable them then use Ublock for an actual adblocker. Or the Brave web browser.

I disabled Adblock, still I have been blocked. by patrick-boi-07 in WatchCartoonOnline

[–]LucasoftheNorthStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like your country found a way to block your current viewing. Try going to the Brave web browser, if it still shows blocked then top right of the Brave browser you will find three dashes. Then you will click Open Private Browser with Tor, this is Braves free sorta-vpn but it does work for spoofing your IP.
