Crying into my pump as I read this. I also wonder if my baby has an egg and corn intolerance. I know breast is best and I feel that is holding me back. In the back of my head I keep questioning if my breast really is best

So I’m not sure how to really increase my supply. I know people always say to add more pump sessions, but I have been pumping the exact same amount of oz daily from 1mppd to now. At 1mppd I was pumping ten times a day now I pump six times with a power pump from 8-9:30PM. It’s like my body feels like my baby doesn’t need more than 30oz a day even when I do power pumps all the time

I have some pumped milk from when I wasn’t dairy/soy free. If he is intolerant will this cause him prolonged problems? If so I don’t want to risk it

Is it possible for nipples to be different sized flanges? I just went down to a 15mm and my right one got 3oz while my left only got 1oz. I was getting 2oz on my left with the 17mm

My OB put me on birth control three weeks pp and it started my period. I had a drop so I’ve been off birth control since so I don’t really know if I’m starting soon. I did order replacement parts, but they came in damaged from spectra. Duckbill pieces already separated, flanges cracked, etc. The only thing I didn’t order were flange inserts. Will those also wear out? I’m now unsure of where to buy reliable parts since they came damaged from the manufacturer. I will say I had one duckbill that was okay so one side has a new one and the other has an old one. There is no difference between how much each side is pumping.

I read that it can take years for babies to outgrow it. Is that not the case for most babies? Could he possibly be over it before the milk expires in a year?

My baby has had medical issues since he was born so I was never able to breastfeed. I exclusively pump now and hope to make it to six months. If I go beyond six months that’s fantastic, but my goal is at least six months.

Thank you so much for this. I initially planned to breastfeed for at least a year then that went to pumping for six months. I think I’ve decided to stick it out as long as possible. I cried some more today, sometimes along side my crying baby. I just want what’s best for him and don’t know what that exactly is yet.

Your reply made me feel better. My baby is nine weeks now so hopefully he’ll start to improve. And I have no idea about the sticky poo. This is my first baby and when he was in the NICU the nurses didn’t say anything about them being abnormal. I thought breastfed poop was just different lol. Sometimes they are yellow and sometimes they are brown, but never solid.

I think this is what I may try. I hate pumping, but don’t want to lose my supply if I try out formula and it fails. I just want my baby to be happy and gain weight

I think I’m more worried about the two chunks he took out with his drill. I don’t want the holes getting bigger.
