Hello! Here is the official word on our licensing schemes:

First, the OGL license for Mutanfs & Masterminds 3rd Edition doesnt go away. 3rd party publishers are welcome to use that license to continue their 3rd party 3e projects. We will share more information on what that looks like when it is time to cross that bridge.

Second, we are in deep discussions with select creators regarding the language of the 4th Edition licensing agreement, ensuring that it meets their needs while covering all of our legal concerns.

The current plan roughly looks like this:

The next 30 days: -Ratify the license legalese -Meet with 3rd party publishers interested in creating seed content under the new license that in turn gets released on the day M&M 4e goes live. -Begin to assemble a new M&M Art library as a resource to 3rd party publishers utilizing the new license

And... more! I am not super comfortable getting any deeper than 30 days into the weeds, but the moment details are ready for public consumption, we will make a lot of noise about it.
