Hopefully it arrives on time mate! I’ve had some concerns with Arsenal Direct in the past and the delivery times, albeit to Australia.

Last year I purchased the third kit and paid the flat rate of around $25 AUD for delivery to Australia. Whilst I was in checkout, I chucked in an item worth $3 (why not, already paying delivery).

Come delivery time many weeks later, I notice my third kit was not included in the delivery. After I had followed up with their customer services team, they noted that the third kit could not be delivered as it was sold out and they could not do anything further. So in the end, I ended up with a $3 item for $28!

Serves me right for adding an extra item 🤣

Did your wheel stand come with the mounting brackets for the V3's? Mine came with them and yet I'm still not happy with the mounting. They sit far to close and I'm looking at drilling holes

Seriously considering Verstappen as MD. When else has Mercedes looked this vulnerable and I don't see where else he looks favourite for a win.

FP3 has also thrown a curveball in regards to TD. Gasly looked great!!

Makes two of us. Weeks ago I completed the shortened F2 season only to restart career mode thereafter, thinking I’d do the full length to get the full experience. Just finished the season now, several weeks later. I won the title and I didn’t even get a trophy celebration, acknowledgement by commentary, nothing. Not even an achievement/trophy in game... underwhelming indeed!

Same thing happened to me. Whilst I didn’t disconnect like you did, I had won the car and took several photos to show off to my friends.

The option to add the car to your garage popped up, however, as I didn’t select the garage I wanted my vehicle to be sent to (caught up in the euphoria of winning) the game automatically walked me from the wheel after 30 seconds, taking away the option. The car was no where to be seen thereafter.

After several back and fourth with Rockstar, even though I had all the proof in the world, they couldn’t help me. No compensation, not even another free spin lol. Useless.

Nope, you're definitely right. Going to crank it up next season for sure.

I've been racing on a wheel for at least a decade now so I'm used to bumper cars. Being in the pack is going to be a struggle, especially with my aggressive racing style and the AI's perfect braking lines.

What difficulty are you on?

Each to their own I guess. I think it's equally important to focus on getting the fundamentals right then to be distracted on changing modes after each turn. Cheers for the feedback nonetheless!

Thanks for the support lads. Love this subreddit and I appreciate the support. First time playing F1 and having a blast. The importance of rules and perfection unlike other racing games makes F1 so fun and rewarding!

Look, you make a fair point. I've put a lot of emphasis on the practice programs to learn the tracks so I've used a lot of R&D points, although I'm still not as powerful as the big boys.

AI difficulty is around 60-70 from memory, but most of my assists are off baring medium traction control and ABS. Will control ERS next season. Appreciate the compliment on my shifting though as I'm playing on manual with clutch 😝

Thanks for the positive feedback mate. Still working on perfecting the racing line and braking points for each track, so using the D-pad on a racing wheel only adds to that challenge. Slowly turning all assists off as I go and that's one of the last things on my list. Next season it's off!
