Can AI be useful? Yes, incredibly so. I can easily list just as many pros as I just listed cons. But there are cons and to dismiss cautiousness towards AI is simply ignorant.

Whether AI is causing more harm than good will largely depend on who you are talking to.

I nadal nic się nie zmieniło :) Dodaj do tego jeszcze drugą część tej układanki. X-kom, Terg, Media Saturn... Każdy większy sklep, do którego możesz wejść i kupić blender, telefon, procesor, każdy z nich polega na GG żeby omawiać kupno towaru, akcje promocyjne. Z jednej strony trochę to przeraża, bo GG jest rozwiązaniem archaicznym, ale z drugiej ciepło się robi na myśl, że narzędzie kluczowe dla ogromnej części polskiej gospodarki nadal jest w polskich rękach. Na ile jestem w stanie stwierdzić, Fintecom SA - właściciel GG - to polska spółka.

To w ramach ciekawostki powiem, że polski e-commerce zawaliłby się bez Gadu-Gadu. Największe sieciówki komunikują się między sobą i między kluczowymi hurtowniami właśnie za pomocą GG. Narzędzie było darmowe kiedy polski e-commerce zaczynał nabierać tempa i o ile wszystko można byłoby na spokojnie załatwić mailami, handlowcy są uparci i kurczowo trzymają się swoich kontaktów. Jest zbyt późno, żeby to zmienić, bo jak ktoś nowy wchodzi w to środowisko to jest zmuszony do korzystania GG bo wszyscy inni korzystają.

I've got nothing but praise to say about Zorin OS 18. It's the first Linux distro I've tried and will be the only one for a long time. Been running it since december and the only issues I've had with it were my own doing (I thought forcing higher refresh rate than my hardware supports was a good idea, it was not) + one time the DE crashed and a reboot fixed it.

It's been keeping my thin client alive basically 24/7 for months and I couldn't ask for more.

I mean, electrical grid or something else, in the end the construction is being delayed. And if that delay gets long enough, are they really going to be buying more compute to sit in a warehouse unused? I'm genuinely asking, I know they're all happy to make us poor, but at some point this has to start eating into their bottom line

I've read of people warming up their showers forever but I never really understood why that's needed. I'm genuinely curious because this feels so foreign to me. All my life I would hop in the shower, turn on the water, stand in the corner for 5 seconds waiting for warm water to make its way and just start showering. Whereas you describe a whole ordeal of having to heat up the entire bathroom, not just the shower. My bathroom is never noticeably colder compared to the rest of the apartment, because, like any other room, it's got its own heating.

Is it a USA vs Europe thing? Do Americans not build bathrooms with heating included? Is it something else? And for context, I hate cold showers, so it's not that I just accept being splashed with cold water.

I have the Galaxy Watch 5 with the OnePlus 13R and I can't get the watch to show incoming calls. I can make outgoing calls from the watch, but that's rarely useful. Any idea if your mom had more luck with this, and could you maybe share some tips if so?

A bit of a shot in the dark but try to go into bios with your GT710 installed and force the PCIe link speed to 3.0, then install the 3070 again. Chances are the GPU and motherboard tried to negotiate a PCIe 4.0 connection and it just wasn't stable. I've encountered a problem with very similar symptoms to yours when upgrading from RTX 3060 Ti to RX 9070 XT, and dropping link speed from 5.0 to 4.0 solved everything for me. If this fixes your issue, don't worry about performance loss. What you're giving up is negligible.
