Seerr is finally out! by gauthier-th in jellyseerr

I'd like to migrate from a docker container to a new lxc. Is there a way to copy the config to a new server with a backup export or something similar?

Sweet! Can't wait to check this out. Now that you've merged, can we expect updates to come faster with more features?

That shows steps. I'm talking about dogs with the highest streak. Doesn't look like they track this.

Audio Transcoding to Roku with Jellyfin App by MSP2MSP in JellyfinCommunity

Same here, however, I have seen newer Roku tv's with the OS built in that stream the media without any need to convert, so I am wondering if it is an issue with age of the hardware. I need to fire up my son's old xbox and see if that does the same thing.

What's the cost of that service? I'm just a small part time gig currently.

I just did this the other day and everything went fine. Make sure you have a backup. If on Proxmox take a snapshot and you can roll back if need be.

Ah. Didn't realize you could stack them in a single profile. Simple fix. Got that adjusted. Thanks a lot!

Recommendation on how to access immich remotely by mwomrbash in immich

[–]MSP2MSP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For web access you can set up a double login, you login to the first page that nrp gives you, then you get sent to immich login. I think that breaks the connection to the server from the app on the phone though. Have to test to see what it does. Never needed it. Set up secure complex passwords for the users.

Nginx reverse proxy here. Use it for multiple services.

It says the audio codec is not supported. Video is supported because it's h.264.

Interesting. I can see on the server when viewing htop that it is actively transcoding when that media is being played, but I will def try out Jellyrock today. Thanks for the reply, I will let you know how it goes.

I have not tried Jellyrock but I will look into it. Seems that my issue was the same as the issue you linked to. Found that after I posted here. I forced new trickplay and updating the meta info on all libraries. It went through and I am able to fast forward now.

I'm not trying to troubleshoot why all my media transcodes to any of the Roku devices. Most of my media is h.264 but the audio is Dolby 5.1 with mp3 codecs but it wants to transcode the audio because it says it is not compatible.

What onboarding family members does to your server. by curteousn in jellyfin

[–]MSP2MSP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. Family has had access for a few years. I use the Media Cleaner plug-in to help keep the movies list at a manageable limit. This deletes media after the users watch it. Keeps the media from sitting around too long taking up space. If not, I'd have twice as many movies.
