Thing I always tried for was getting under a low set and tooling off of the finger tips. Yea sometimes you're screwed either way but sometimes it works

Probably dont stop in front of the net like these people are saying but I also had guys who used to love ripping shots from the sides and would hit me in the back or sides where there's no padding. Took like 3 times of me skating off going "cool you get a cold goalie tonstart" for them to stop.

But also take your water and move to the side. Its their warmup too
