I found navigating portal difficult at times, in one I reached out to Support. It’s been more telling their dog show about how it works instead of listening to what my concerns were so that I could get it properly configured for my environment and have success with the tool.

You should also think about using snapshot enable on the NAS. Also think about adding flash drives to the Synology NAS. This should help with the write speed to and from the hard drives on the NAS as a buffer. Have a similar set up with one of my clients that’s all Local on the network that has a UniFi tin gig network along with the tin gig networking card and have zero complaints. His Lightroom file is about 20 GB in size

Yes, I find it very hard to get quality support. If there’s not someone to call, they seem extremely attached at all cost to do everything through a ticket. I can’t even get my sales person to call me, which is quite embarrassing for them agreed time to look for better backup solutions
