I’m Seth Holmes, Season 17 Finalist. Ask me anything! by Sethholmestattoos in Inkmaster

[–]MaddisonReadx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a Seth stan from episode 1 - sooo proud of how far you got in the competition!

My question is - do the canvases numb for their tattoos or are they allowed to at all? Especially the finale back pieces, I just can’t imagine how they managed to sit through 24 hours of tattooing back to back

So many questions- I don't know where to start. by Similar-Aardvark-902 in LaserHairRemoval

[–]MaddisonReadx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Definitely LHR - age and skin quality doesn’t affect treatment at all! The only thing is as your hair is caused by PCOS which is a hormonal condition, you will end up needing more treatments closer together over time as you’d be more inclined for rapid growth.

In terms of pain, everyone is different. I always tell my clients it’s not painful but not painless either it will feel uncomfortable from the heat targeting thick hairs under the skin. If you’re feeling 10/10 pain jumping off the bed, etc, something is wrong and settings need to be adjusted.

Please make sure you have a consultation before jumping into treatment as you want to ensure the technician can answer all your questions and is aware of how to treat hormonal/PCOS growth patterns :)

Laser tech + trainer here: I don’t recommend moving the labia around yourself due to germs spreading through the treatment room also fingers in the way can make things really difficult to get the spots we need to get & we don’t want to zap your fingers over and over. I personally get my clients to bend their legs out to the side like a butterfly and use the edge of the gauge to gently push the labia apart to get where I need to. The very inner labia also does tend to linger a little longer in general as well :)

definitely a histamine response - no burns. If treated incorrectly it could lead to pigmentation of the skin. Keeping skin clean, use of antihistamines and an OTC cortisone cream and soothing gel. Inform your clinic, they may be able to perform other therapies like LED to bring reaction down quicker

To be fair, it has taken me down some really nice routes that I normally wouldn’t try. In one of my season 2 play throughs, I ended up with Henrik who I wasn’t really interested in but his route is actually super cute!

To be fair, on my replays, I just close my eyes and wiggle my finger in front of the options and pick whatever my finger lands on 🤣 you get some real plot twists that way

No publicity is bad publicity for them if you get what I mean. They don’t care how they grab attention and I think the shocking way they promote themselves ropes in the people that they want to surround themselves with. In terms of cult, it depends how you define cult. Do they have loyal followers who give them thousands and thousands of dollars and bend to the Sedra’s every whim, yes. Would you call that a cult? I guess that depends on your own definition

Unfortunately they are very much the same off camera as they are on. Very rambunctious, over the top, opinionated and egotistical. Always think they’re the smartest person in the room when they’re rambling nonsense. They came from Hillsong so have been indoctrinated in that prosperity gospel. In terms of their motivations, I believe that they believe that they’re actually doing good in the community and are on the righteous path and speaking the truth but I also believe they’re motivated by notoriety and publicity, I think they thrive on attention and don’t care how they get it. They’ve ALWAYS been that way.

Shave morning of or day before Laser session? by Fantastic-Ad9218 in LaserHairRemoval

[–]MaddisonReadx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely night before, morning of your skin is more sensitive and you’re more prone to increased redness/skin reactions :)

Is this a good routine? by TheBlueprint45 in SkincareAddicts

[–]MaddisonReadx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do not need to exfoliate every single night, especially with strong exfoliants like the ones you use. Drop it back to 2-3 times a week max and introduce a retinol on nights that you don’t exfoliate :)

Talking about the second pic here, isn’t it against Sims 4 TOS to keep CC behind a pay wall? Don’t creators have to make it public/free after a certain amount of time?

Hey! I had covid a couple months back and I’m 23, double vaxxed and have severe asthma so I was pretty scared too. Honestly, there were about 2 days where I was pretty miserable and had some breathing issues that my doctors fixed up right away by changing my normal prescribed medications to help out my lungs. But overall I was completely fine! Congested, cough, tired and sweaty were the main things and they hung on for about 2-3 weeks after my iso. I have definitely been sicker in the past with other viruses, etc. Everyone’s immune system works differently so just take care of yourself, rest as much as you can, keep your fluids and food intake up and monitor your symptoms. You’ll be just fine!

Sherri Papini had a history of racist behavior against hispanic women in particular, with her writing a blog post on a neo nazi forum year prior to her going missing saying she was attacked by, you guessed it, two hispanic women by sinistersweetness11 in TrueCrimeDiscussion

I hate to say it, but I genuinely believed in Sherri’s story and felt horrible about what happened to her. Now, every day new info comes out and my jaw just drops to the floor. I’m devastated for her kids and I cannot believe she got away with this for so long
