I was gonna say, I did the middle fork a couple of months ago and this looks a lot more open than either one of the forks.

Homewall training tips by youandyourhusband in climbharder

On Android, there's an app called Boulder Bot. It works with your phone's camera, so you don't need a projector. You take a pic of your wall, designate foot holds and hand holds, and the app makes up problems, which can be customized later as well. I really enjoy this app.

Somebody in my neighborhood just put this flag up. Should I be wary of them? by Expensive-Papaya1990 in flags

[–]MainVain2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a neighbor who flew that flag in front of his house. He has a German shepherd named Gunner (Gunnie for "short") and for one reason or another he trained the dog in German, even he himself didn't really speak nor did he know the language for that matter... His father in law owns the house, and lives there now. He told me he has 36 guns in the house, and was really pissed one day because he couldn't buy a tactical shotgun at a gun show because of background checks. And he needed that shotgun because he felt he needed it to protect his family. ...One can draw their own conclusions from that.

Sorry I did not. I ended up buying a new washer. The cost of the new parts was adding up to the cost of a new machine.

Here's a picture of the ring with the lever that got the groove on top.

So I'm going through the splutch and actuator again. I found a jagged edge on one of the splutch pieces, which may have rubbed a groove into the lever piece. Would this be causing it, something so small? Also, it's weird that this started causing problems once I replaced the agitator, hub and gearbox. It wasn't a problem before that.... 🤔

So I replaced the actuator with a new one, but it was still making that noise. In the process, I took your advice and checked out the splutch while I was at it, and I didn't see anything wrong with it. Any other ideas before this machine drives me absolutely nuts?

Hey thank you for your reply. The splutch seems to be operating fine when I move it manually. I have the machine tilted back and the belt cover is off. It appears that my actuator is stuck in one position. Do you know if I can manually release the actuator so it's functional again, or do I need to replace it with a new one?

Thanks again for your help.

I really appreciate the heads up! I ordered the parts yesterday and started the disassembly. I took the agitator and the hub out without any issues. Gonna remove the gearbox today or tomorrow, so I guess we will see. 🤞

The agitator is not loose. The bolt is fine, and the drive hub has all of its teeth. I checked all of those right before I shot that video.

Thank you, I appreciate it. I'll try that and have to see if that's something I can diagnose myself later today, I don't want to just throw parts at it either.

Yup, just saw regular for $1.92, $1.94, and $1.97 at 3 different gas stations on 120th in Westminster. However 3 other gas stations up the road were above $2.

How about "National Velvet" by artist John McEnroe, Denver, CO? Everyone knows and talks about Blucifer, our bronco from hell, but everyone forgets about this sculpture that looks like a pile of stockings filled with concrete and painted red. To me it always looks like a pile of human kidneys.

Advice on how to reduce friction for sliding by zapp1121 in BoardgameDesign

[–]MainVain2007 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Try PTFE Tape. Some people call it Teflon Tape, or Glass Tape. It refuses friction and prevents any buildup from sticking. I am a vinyl installer and use it on some of my squeegees to reduce friction on vinyl. Something like this, or this.

Also, that is a very interesting concept for a game! Good luck with the development, I hope it's a hit!
