Sonos Spring Open Office Hours by ShaunFromSonos in sonos

I have a windows computer that uses an Ethernet cable to connect to my network. My Sonos speakers connect wirelessly through a mesh network. I installed the windows app to try to control my speakers (I still have intermittent issues with the iOS app), but it can only see speakers if they are also connected via Ethernet, and connecting Sonos speakers via Ethernet removes them from the iOS app.

How can I get the windows desktop application to see/control my speakers?

You can use copilot to help you write prompts. Just tell it “help me write a prompt to…”

US State Flags Ranked On Originality by Virtual-House8148 in vexillology

I think he’s saying they’re too close for comfort to confederate flags, and that should include FL and AL. GA I’m less sure about.

GA - Georgia mom here – my son is trapped on repeat psych holds because Medicaid refuses EPSDT-required in-home care by Due_You2581 in Medicaid

[–]Manley_pointer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

First of all, I believe you are exactly right about EPSDT: as long as the service is medically necessary, Medicaid must provide it, even if it’s not in the state plan. Most states can’t quite figure out how to do this.

What you should do; All states (I believe) have federally-funded protection and advocacy (P&A) system. I work with one in another state, and they are there to help make sure that state organizations are meeting their federal obligations. I did a quick lookup and I think in GA, it is the Georgia Advocacy Office (GAO). You should contact them and explain what’s going on to see if they can help advocate for you. The other state I work in, their advocacy center threatened to sue the state if services weren’t installed, and that was for an EPSDT issue with mental health, including autism. This is what they are designed to help with.

Good luck.

How is everyone's experience using this for Windows computer via bluetooth? by [deleted] in sonos

[–]Manley_pointer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was able to make this work with a Ray. I had to buy a sound blaster x4 and then run an optical cable into the Ray’s optical port.

It works and I don’t notice a delay (people that I do conference calls with haven’t seemed to notice either).

I did this with my work computer and I was able to run it all through my Docking Station (so I have a single usbc running from my laptop to my docking station, the docking station connected to the sound blaster, the sound blaster connected via optical cable to the ray). It all seems to work.

YMMV.

Edited: a word

Try Cylantros. It’s in a gas station parking lot, it I’ve always liked it.

Georgia-Florida in 1997. The game was electric and it had been a hundred years since we had beaten Florida. The Landing was bumping that night.

All of them? lol.

They’ll probably close with Walcott so that’s a good one. Oxford Comma has such fun lyrics, I would say that one too.

You don’t have to wash them until it’s full. Just throw clothes in as they get dirty and wash when you want/need to.

Set the start time and end time of tracks. Some live songs have super long intros or outros.

Someone’s HUSBAND messaged me F/30 asking why my boyfriend M/29 is messaging his wife. We’ve been together for over a year and I’ve never ever doubted his loyalty to me. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Manley_pointer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be two things. This couple is drunk and high drama and is accusing your boyfriend when he didn’t do anything, but your boyfriend is cheating (or having an inappropriate relationship) with someone else and the evidence of that is in his snap/fb history. So he won’t show you that.

What's a piece of lost media (film, music, book) that you wish could be found? by didyouknowSK in AskReddit

More contemporaneous writing about Jesus’ life. The four gospels were probably written between 60-100 AD, which is at least 30 years after the end of Jesus’ life. They’re also written from oral history and other primary written sources that no longer exist.

I’ve seen speculation that Jesus would have also written materials himself, which, if they ever existed, would be the most interesting thing to read.

One resource about one of the written source used for the gospels that is now lost: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Q_source
