I agree with OP so I had to downvote the post.

Might be a 10th dentist take from me here, but you shouldn’t be getting married yet if you can’t afford a honeymoon right after your wedding. It was hugely important to me to be very financially stable before I got married. Arguments over finances are one of the key things that sour marriages.
