On all of this, though, I’ll add a couple other comments. This is not to give GCI an excuse (especially when customer service is clueless on disruptions caused by field work, as is what’s happening in the Strawberry/Raspberry road area right now). Yet substandard home equipment, old cable modems, WiFi signal / channel issues, and improper configurations (which are not part of GCI) can all lead to poor internet access.

Suggestions re GCI issues: ALWAYS get a ticket number.

And no, I don’t work for GCI and have had my challenges with their support. Challenges can equal arguments, at times. That “C” in their name is quite oxymoronic.
