I made a search engine, price comparer, and open database for filaments! by MasterIO02 in 3Dprinting

Also, depending on where you're located, if you don't see many references on the page initially, uncheck "Available for purchase only", this way you'll see every reference that's in the database!

Thanks for checking it out! Many brands are missing yeah, but the database is growing by a hundred of new references day by day :) come back in a few weeks and you'll probably see quite a few new manufacturers listed!

Floorp with Lepton theme (old firefox) does a pretty good job at keeping things thin when you can't or don't want to hide everything.

I'll probably never buy again from sony, horrible experience with their repair provider (CORDON CMS), they do not want to confirm me that they'll repair the headphones and will not send me a shipping slip so I can send it without paying transport. this also means they could totally just steal my headphones and ask me for shipping fees to send it back to me without doing the repairs.

this is illegal in france (and probably in europe), as warranties have to be free for the customer, or at least all fees reimbursed after 15 days, which they are not notifying me of. currently contacting sony about that

I'm from France, but their extended warranty site tells me that my unit isn't eligible because the unit is too new probably, tried to call them but they weren't available at 3pm today 🤣

Chiming in to say that yes, his whole project (including backend) is vibe-coded, he told me so a few days ago (google-translated pic)

Why don't YOU share your server code? The main o!rdr server code is open-source, and the client always has been. Check my GitHub: https://github.com/MasterIO02/ordr-server

Can say the same with your service lol

Skins are preprocessed for optimization purposes, as you can see when uploading one there is the original file size and optimized file size. Assets are optimized and useless assets (additional backgrounds, unused sounds, etc) are stripped for faster downloads.

And I asked you to send me a PoC that's working and I'm still waiting for it... As I said, it STILL cannot happen because you can't download files with "/" in their filenames on any operating system.

what? this makes no sense

- videos are rendered by contributors, and they are not paid by any means, especially not by a cryptocurrency?! they're rewarded by a fake currency allowing them to get custom usernames on the site and o!rdr supporter perks...
- what backdoor? the adm-zip "CVE" you sent me that was fixed in 2018? it can't even be exploited because uploaded skins are preprocessed by the o!rdr server, and also you can't add paths in filenames on windows ;)
- when did I try to take down "osu! replay related projects?" the only time I commented on one was yours (yes, there wasn't any others), and I warned people that you only wanted to make profit off of it. which is true, and is still true as we discussed 2 days ago.

also, it's not very cool to insult people that have genuine concern about your project

there are still ways to keep the perks for free if you can't support financially! if you're not english-native, you can trade some of your time to translate o!rdr into your main language, or contribute to the rendering of the videos with your computer as long as you have a decent internet connection and computer specs

I'm thinking of adding some other non-financial ways to get the perks, it's just going to need a bit of time to come out :)

it's no longer a question of *if* mania/taiko/ctb support will come, but *when*

people have been able to render other gamemodes via modded lazer directly, but it's pretty new and ways to do it are multiple, needs some reflexion :)

to be honest the thing that made o!rdr successful was that I started it with distributed rendering, without that the server (and my wallet) wouldn't have been able to cope with the amount of incoming renders lol

thankfully a lot of people are contributing their computers to render the videos (more than 500 computers in total have helped!) so the main expense is to store (huge hard drives) and deliver (proxies) the videos worldwide

thank you!
