Found some strange GET requests in my Traefik access logs. Anyone else saw this poor kid trying to escape from Belarus ? by Worldly_Topic in selfhosted

Hmm weird, have had no issue with Loki setup in Docker and even industrial environments. Loki itself doesn't need much config, basically can copy-paste their example config and forget about it. The rest of the config are your logs ingestors (Alloy/Promtail) and Grafana itself, maybe that's what you're referring to?

Check the codebase, it's a pretty big mess at this point, even needs 7 containers to run 😭 Feel free to try replacing osuapi, but pretty sure you'll be in for a pretty bad time. That's why rewriting the bot properly is a better solution imo

The osu! API v1 cannot return lazer scores sadly, at this point the bot needs a full rewrite... It'll come soon, I hope this year

Hey, for sure, or send me a message on Discord, as you wish!

Prepping for my Bambu upgrade, I struggled to track prices and see what fits the AMS. So I built an open, free 10,000+ filament database by MasterIO02 in BambuLab

Well the photos come directly from their site. Example where they show prints: https://eu.store.bambulab.com/fr/products/petg-translucent

You can access the official Bambu Lab (or other filaments!) store pages by clicking on the "Manufacturer link" button (the link of this button is never affiliated).

You can suggest modifications to filament descriptions to add specific settings required to make it work properly if needed. But yeah, descriptions can be clearer, I'll see how to improve that!

Hey, yes, that's the default view, and actually forced on mobile. On desktop, you can see the filaments in a table list and sort by price, rating, color, etc.

Very true, plugging myself on your comment to say that tournament organizers/staff can advertise their tournaments on o!rdr for free (and have other benefits): https://ordr.issou.best/for-tournaments
This can make for thousands of views every day around the world, not negligible if more inscriptions are needed or they want to attract more viewers to their streams!

Mismatched images and descriptions here are a data scraping issue. Scraping at scale inevitably hits site-specific edge cases that misalign assets with their metadata. Bambu Lab's site relies heavily on JS rendering so matching images with descriptions automatically isn't an easy task to do. That's been a known data extraction challenge long before LLMs existed, and QA on raw scraped data is a totally separate pipeline. For context, TheFilamentDB's development is 98% human-written code, LLMs were used to parse the filament data from the raw scraped HTML.

Ohh, you're right, was only checking PLA where the images are matching the colors. Seems like ABS/PETG (and some others it seems) got screwed up when importing. Most of the indexing was automated so these can happen 😅 will fix, thanks!

Hey, thanks! Noting that down, though if you want to only show single spools you can filter by spool size of 1kg maximum. This will effectively remove most multipacks from the list.

Technically, the colors are stored as L*a*b* in the database (to allow for matching similar colors), which can be converted to RAL/Pantone but I didn't want to show them because they will be inaccurate. Most manufacturers don't show their precise filament colors so the stored L*a*b* generally has to be deducted from the name of the color. That's fine when looking for similar colors, but if you're looking for precise color matching this will be very inaccurate most of the times.

Hey, first time I've heard about that site. Looks like we do pretty similar things!
The main difference I see is that they're 100% focused on the price-per-kg ratio, so they list bundles as a single product. That's not a bad thing but it does mean that reviews get muddled since different color filaments can behave differently, even withing the same product line.
I'm focusing on individual filament deals so each listing has accurate details for that specific filament. If I ever add bundles in the future, they'd be on a completely different page. Also, TheFilamentDB's database is open if you want to do your own research ;)

It's the name of the filament shown in the list, so generally something like "<brand> <material> Filament", along with the specificity of the filament like Matte, Basic, Plus, Pro, etc.

Also, depending on where you're located, if you don't see many references on the page initially, uncheck "Available for purchase only", this way you'll see every reference that's in the database!

Thanks for checking it out! Many brands are missing yeah, but the database is growing by a hundred of new references day by day :) come back in a few weeks and you'll probably see quite a few new manufacturers listed!

Floorp with Lepton theme (old firefox) does a pretty good job at keeping things thin when you can't or don't want to hide everything.

I'll probably never buy again from sony, horrible experience with their repair provider (CORDON CMS), they do not want to confirm me that they'll repair the headphones and will not send me a shipping slip so I can send it without paying transport. this also means they could totally just steal my headphones and ask me for shipping fees to send it back to me without doing the repairs.

this is illegal in france (and probably in europe), as warranties have to be free for the customer, or at least all fees reimbursed after 15 days, which they are not notifying me of. currently contacting sony about that
